Dr. Birnstein was a good doctor for 10+ years, but he's an 9-5 guy who takes long lunches and has an unfriendly staff. When I became deathly ill with what turned out to be a rare virus, I called him at home on a Sunday after 8 am - to which he answered Do you know what time it is? and hung up on me. I ended up in the ICU - and recovered - but no doctor on my case could believe what he done - and after many years as a patient neither could I.

  • Difficult to schedule appointment
  • Staff wasn't friendly

Greatest Doctor. He really takes his time to listen to his patients. One of the few that still Doctors the old way. it's never a feeling of being rushed through your appointment. Dr. spends time getting to know his patients and works with whatever limitations presented to him. More Dr. need to run their office like Dr.
