Dr. Peter Berg, MD

I saw him, as I have for years, for my annual exam this year, and a stye, which he indirectly blamed me for getting, & not cleaning my eyes with baby shampoo as he told me to do. Again he didn't dilate my eyes, (hasn't for the last 5 or 6 years)and though I was relieved, and he said if he could see behind my eyes, it wasn't necessary, but didn't feel right when I checked on line. He asked me to read a line on an eye chart, which I had difficulty doing, and he didn't comment, but went on to something else. When I told him that I couldn't take the antibiotic he was prescribing for my stye because of its side effects he didn't mention, what I later learned from a pharmacist, that there are salves, and drops I could us. I left him a message about that, but he never responded with a prescription for something else. I was told to come back in a month to check on the stye, which was gone and I cancelled the visit. Now the stye is back in the same place, same eye. I'll won't see him again

When the nurse dilated my eyes!, omg ! My eyes didn't recover .actually one of eyes my left one took days to go back my normal.

I went to see Dr. Burke. I need a new pair of glasses because the ones that I have I can’t see. He keeps telling me I have to come back for another appointment. he keeps doing tests on me. I never get the results, but I do get a bill for my insurance company not going back.

Today's visit (my third) with Dr. Berg was the final straw. He is always late, rushed, extremely condescending and outright rude. At my last visit, Dr. Berg would not give me a complete eye exam, just told me to get over the counter reader glasses, despite the fact I have been wearing prescription glasses for over twenty years.

Dr. Peter Berg is now charging an extra 3% for copay if you are using a credit card. He is taking the fee that the credit card machine company is charging him and putting it on to his clients, if they use a credit card. 3% fee of a $40 copay is a $1.20
