Unprofessional staff
Doctor and the office manager were unhelpful when there was an issue with my medication. Seemed like he just wanted a patient and not give proper patient care!

Dr Herson is great.
The doctor listens to your concerns and spends an appropriate amount of time to address any questions you have. He does check your feet and does thyroid check (not every time) but at appropriate intervals. My wife just started seeing Dr. Herson and she is just as pleased.

I was the second patient in the waiting room but was seen last. When I saw the doctor he talked fast, called the secretary for issues not related to my case and never sat down. He did not look me in the eyes. The receptionist scheduled me for November, after six months, but the day of the appointment she said I never scheduled a second visit.

5 minute Visits!
Do Not ask Questions or Give Opinions ! He wants only Compliance! You spend more time in the Waiting Room then with the Doctor. He Comes in for 5 minutes and Sits at his Computer . He Asks how You are , and Types up your Prescription Renewals ! He Never examines You, or Checks Your Feet or Legs for Sores! And Anything Else is Extra , like Blood tests !

Dr. Perry Herson is a wonderful physician who is caring and compassionate. He was able to diagnose my thyroid condition and lead me back to a normal life. I was diagnosed at a young age with Hashimotos/ sluggish thyroid and no other doctor was able to help me. I also had a nodule that had to be biopsied. Thank gd I found Dr. Herson from a friend's strong recommendation as he truly dialed in and figured out what was essentially wrong with me and adjusted all my medications. His office is a private practice and the staff is very helpful and is always accommodating. It is so refreshing to have an office that is not run by a large organization. He is the only doctor and sees all the patients himself. It is also wonderful how Doctor Herson performs his own ultrasounds and biopsies. His office was impeccably clean and follows strict covid protocols. He really has an excellent reputation in the community and I recommend him with the utmost enthusiasm!

I waited in the hallway for an hour for my 10 minute visit. He sees 10 patients in one hour. He rushed me through. Didn’t answer any questions. Such a waste of time. His office manager was beyond rude to everyone. Try to find another doctor.

Dr. Herson was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make sure that I understood my condition, and receive the proper treatment. Many providers had previously ignored my complaints in the past. Dr. Herson literally saved my life, and is a brilliant diagnostician. His patience and kind demeanor made my office visit so comforting. His front desk staff was very friendly and checking in was seamless. They are very helpful and I also felt quite safe with covid stuff as they have a special facial thermometer that read my temperature. They also are only allowing a few people at a time. Honestly, his office felt like the way doctor's offices are supposed to feel... not like a clinic or conglomerate. You are not just a number here..and every person really matters. Since my visit, I have referred his office to my family and friends. I recommend him to everyone and anyone who needs the BEST endocrinologist.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Snarky remarks from the front office staff and I felt unheard and rushed by the Dr. I'd like to think that maybe it was just an off day for everyone but how common is that?

Dr Herson was very impersonal until I got so frustrated I cried. He tried rushing my appointment and had very little concern for what I was saying. He's incredibly dismissive and didn't even ask me about what was going on or what I was feeling. Doesn't care about the person infront of him.

I have recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and to be honest, felt skeptical of my treatment by my previous endocrinologist because my symptoms kept getting worse and nothing was improving. My prior experience was not positive- my doctor would not reach out with test results and I had to chase and often play phone tag for 3-4 weeks, all the time feeling horrible and like I couldn’t live a normal quality life. I was always nervous about being over or under-medicated. Dr. Herson set my mind at ease- he re-explained my diagnosis and went over a real plan with me to find a neutral ground with medication, both symptomatically and through my labwork. I finally feel like I’m on a path to getting my life back, and have Dr. Herson to thank for it.

By far the best endocrinologist I have ever seen. The doctor is careful, concise, and extremely thorough In his approach. He diagnosed and treated my rare endocrine disorder. He is extremely well trained and his staff is so helpful. His office was very busy and I can understand why. Even though there was a busy waiting room I did not wait there longer than a half hour to be seen. I like that I get to see the doctor at every visit and the office is not run like a factory. It is a private practice and I really like the individualized care versus those other places owned by big conglomerates. Another huge benefit of going to see Dr. Herson is that he has his own blood lab there at his office so I don’t have to go anywhere else to get my blood taken.

Dr. Herson is knowledgeable and easy to talk to about your condition. His office is clean and the staff is great. I really surprised at these negative reviews. My only complaint is sometimes there is an excessive wait time, but no worse than most doctors I see!

first appointment with dr - very hasty, knowledge on male hormones limited but he will make you think he knows it all. This dr made my first ineffective endo look like a genius. unreal. hormones being within range is not always good for a person - usually hormones, including thyroid hormones, need to be in optimal range. He also did not take blood pressure, he instead ask hows your blood pressure. I had to ask him to take it. Also, turns on his thyroid u/s machine and does literally a 10 seco

Saw Dr. Herson for newly diagnosed T2D. He did not even do a thorough exam or history. Was rushed and dismissive and focused on medication. Went back for follow up and then never again when had the same experience and obvious he was focusing solely on medication. Office staff was nice though.

Dr. Herson is a personable and brilliant doctor. He is the only specialist that ever got my endocrine condition under control. His staff is fantastic, they are responsive and efficient and answer calls. Nice to be a patient in a well run private practice and not in a Corporate Machine.

A very personable guy but not much of a doctor. I have type 2 diabetes. I would wait an hour and a half to see him, and he would ask if I needed any prescriptions, and then dismiss me for another three months. He couldn't get out of the room fast enough. The last time I went, I was shocked that he didn't even take my blood pressure. When I asked him about it, he said, "Oh, did you want me to do that?" I was horrified. He didn't take my blood pressure and I NEVER went back. Awful experience.
