WORST OFFICE EVER
He told my husband he had cancer in an open area. Then when he performed surgery, he didn't consult with us afterwards, even though promised. Then because of leakage and bleeding in catheter we called for 6 days straight, sometimes 2x a day. Then when it came to follow up the day after the hurricane , i called to find out if they would be open, they said, what hurricane.. Then said they would call back. Never heard from office again. Also they refused to send medical records to primary care and specialist. Don't go

Show’s little interest
The Villages office is clean and the staff is nice and helpful. On the other hand the Doctor reviewed the test results quickly, didn’t ask if I had questions and ordered medication without explaining why or if there are possible side effects. I’m giving 2 stars because the staff is good and somewhat make up for the Doctors attitude, otherwise it would be 1 star.

Excellent experience
I am a 64 year old man with no insurance and 6 months away from Medicare. I was referred to Dr. Narayan by Fl. health. His staff has been great to work with and explained what they were doing along with why. I have been blessed to have had Meisha take care of me most of my visits. A very caring and thorough nurse. Dr. Bass is very patient in answering all my questions, of which there were many. Dr. Narayan met with me on a Saturday to go over questions I had about my upcoming surgery. Before agreeing to letting him do this, I read numerous reviews. Most of the ones I read that were negative had nothing to do with his abilities as a doctor or surgeon. I know how businesses get high ratings on reviews, it’s typically because they have an individual that does nothing but concentrate on good reviews. My number one concern was if Dr.Narayan was competent to trust with my manhood. I can honestly say I made the right decision. Who cares how someone’s bedside manner is if surgery goes bad

Office and staff only
Visited their office on Friday and made an appointment for the following Monday. . . they gave me paperwork to fill out and bring back Monday. Before leaving the office on Monday, I provided them with copies of my Driver's License and Tricare Card. I notice that the appointment slip I received had the address and telephone number of a Pet Store, so I returned to the office, and got their correct number on the same paper they gave me before exiting the office. When I showed up Monday, I turned in the paperwork and I was told that I did not have an appointment since I had canceled it. I don't know who did, but I did not! They gave me an appointment for the following day (Tuesday) and when I showed up for the appointment on Tuesday, they told me that they did not have any information on file on me. Since I am not used to dealing with mediocrity, I walked out of the office and told them to forget about me ever being in their office. I do not recommend this medical practice to anybody!!

No Way!!
Terrible I never met the doctor even though he had me hospitalized for lithotripsy. I was given no information on what was going to happen to me. The office was not clean and the room where I had the stent removed had old boxes stored in it and didn't appear clean. I refuse to see this doctor again.

Did nothing for my father while he was in the hospital for 3 days. Sent him home with a UTI and no antibiotics and a catheter. He was in pain the whole time and his urine output was mainly blood. Not two days after he was discharged, he turned septic with a 104 degree fever and sent back to the hospital. Do not use this doctor!

The worst practice ever
I was referred to this dr. from an emergency room, due to repeating URIs. When I called, they asked me when I would like to come in. Red flag #1. I entered a dingy looking office where I was greeted by a maskless nurse. When I questioned why no mask (in the height of the Covid pandemic), I was told that she did not need to wear a mask, as she was "vaxed". She also chided me for having difficulty giving a urine specimen, as "you knew you were coming to see the pee-pee doctor". Enter the PA (never saw the doc). He told me that he would do a culture and would call me with the results. Never heard a word back. Three weeks later, I had another severe URI. I called their "emergency" number and was transferred to some kind of voicemail message stating, "you cannot leave a message on this number". I tried 3 times, each time with the same results. When I called the office to pick up my records, there was no answer during business hours, and no way to leave a message. Horrible!

Terrible. He is without a doubt the least concerned about his patients than any doctor I've ever had attend to me. He removed my bladder stent with such force, I could barely breath for about an hour afterward. He appeared low on patience when his ARNP was unable to remove the stent within a reasonable amount of time. He took over and showed how rapidly it could be done if you really didn't care about the end result of pain to the patient.

My husband went to another urology office that was not professional. When he was hospitalized he received care and surgery from Dr. Narayan and the results were perfect. The staff is the best there is and always answer your calls and concerns. Thank you for the kind service...you are very special! Thank you

I didn't know what practice to go to when I finally realized I needed a Urologist. I started doing my do diligence and began researching. I decided on North Florida Urology based on reviews and services provided incase I needed them. I cannot say enough about Dr Narayan. He has a great bedside manner and takes time to answer questions......this is a big plus when there are a lot of unknowns. I am glad I chose North Florida Urology for my needs but more importantly I'm glad Dr Narayan is my urologist. Thank you Dr Narayan and the staff of North Florida Urology.

Terrible. It seems he is very unsure of what he is doing. He wanted to do a cystoscopy under anesthesia which I’ve had several without. Could not seem to get it schedule then he told his girls I was the one who wanted it done. Who in the world wants that procedure done. Very dirty and disorganized office. Hard to get anyone on the phone. Office staff seemed always in an uproar.

Had the female dr in with me answering some of my questions ( every answer was you’ll have to ask him ) he literally came into the room and pulled her out and said you’re taking too long then made me go into the other room and would not answer any of my questions. The only nice one there is ,not sure if he was a nurse or what but his name is Jay. He was able to answer two or three of my questions. When he asked the female doctor one of my questions she said she will have to make an appointment for next Thursday if she has any questions. And they literally have you put a urine sample in a Dixie cup.
