Dr. Penola Jones, MD

Saw Dr. Jones as my regular OB GYN was not available for months. She had the hospital call to schedule several ultrasounds and tests without even a call explaining as to why I would need these tests. Is she just trying to pump more money out of me? She owes the patient an explanation. That is her job and what she got paid to do. My PC also felt she was jumping the gun and should have called.

Dr. Jones never explained any of the tests I had done to me. I was handed a post it note by her nurse that said I had a cyst that ruptured on my ovary. I have a MPN disease, and she kept trying to suggest I take birth control which I cannot take. She then told me I was calling my disease by the wrong name, and that I didn't understand it. I've had this disease for nearly 20 years, and she was arguing with me about it. It was the most awkward and disappointing experience. The staff and nurses were very nice, so it's a shame that I will have to change doctors. She's not for me!

Dr. Jones is a great listener about overall health and health goals-my daughter goes to her as well-we would highly recommend her! She is a blessing!

Dr. Jones is phenomenal! She has a warm comforting bedside manner she listens to all of my concerns and addresses them during my visits. She has been my doctor for over 20 years I highly recommend her.

So glad I made an appointment with another doctor in this office. I am no longer a patient of her’s. Neither is my daughter.

Dr. Jones was one of the worst doctors I ever had in my life I was pregnant with twins and I kept getting yeast infectionsWhile pregnant with them she looked at me like I was just so nasty and did not want to treat meIf anyone came with me to the hospital she did not want them to be in the room at all she had such a bad attitude at the end she did not even deliver the twins I would never in a lifetime recommend this he/she For anywhere she is so unprofessional I don’t even know how she got a license and this has been 16 years ago I hope she sees this and remember who I am and tried to charge my insurance two times I just had to look her up to see if she was still in practice or dead

I love Dr. Jones! She has delivered all 3 of my children. I would highly recommend her. Easy to talk to, friendly, thorough, informative.

Lack of time spent, lack of explanations, lack of knowledge.

Dr Jones has an amazing bedside manner and explains everything in easy to understand terms, she not only made me feel comfortable during my high risk pregnancy but she showed extreme compassion with issues that greatly worried me. Amazing bedside manner, I will recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great OB!

Dr. Jones is very compassionate and enthusiastic when it comes to patient care. I have have given birth twice under her care, one being induced due to complications and one being a completely hands-off natural birth. During both pregnancies and births, I felt that I was in the best and most caring hands possible. She clearly cares a lot about her profession. She has always listened and treated me with respect as both a patient and a person. She is one of my favorite doctors in the area overall!

Dr. Jones is very caring and compassionate. She answered all of my questions and advised me with treatment to solve my issues.

I have always had very much highly respect for DT jones. She delivered my first born and my first borns child. And I am currently try to find her location if she is on Sandusky I will take the drive. I will try to call to set up an appt. I would never want anyone other than Dr. Jones to be my OB. Dr Jones you will always be no 1. In my book. Hope to see you soon. Terri Stanley.
