Dr. Pedro Nam, MD

Dr Nam himself is very kind and I think a good physician but his staff is horrible. Ever since they relocated it’s just become a factory. They NEVER return calls or even get back to you with results. I have texted and left VM but it’s useless. What’s the point of sending a patient for tests when you can’t have anyone call with results? It’s so aggravating when they tell you they will have someone return your call and never do. This is beyond poor healthcare. My elderly parents have had numerous issues with them providing referrals as well. Your office should be ashamed. It’s a terrible reflection of the doctor who runs it. I have worked in the healthcare business and this lack of attention to the patient is totally unacceptable. They really don’t care about patients. Just another money hungry business.

Nobody answers phones when calling to make an appointment or when trying to get referrals. Long wait times. Impossible to get an appointments with doctor Nam. Will be looking for another PCP in area. When calling main telephone number, patients are referred to another phone number to text what is needed. I didn’t get any response after leaving messages.

It is nearly impossible to speak to a person so a message must be left or an email sent. Their response time is several days to never. My experience with Dr. Nam's office was worse than horrible when waiting for an appointment, or a referral to a specialist.

I've been using Dr. Nam as my PCP for several years. However, I recently switched. Every time I schedule an appointment, I'm threatened with fines if I'm more than 15 minutes late, but I always wind up waiting at least an hour to see the doctor. Sometimes closer to two hours. On a few occasions, I've had to reschedule appointments after waiting in vain at the office. I've also had repeated mistakes from the office. I've gotten calls from pharmacies asking me to authorize other patients' prescriptions because someone entered my phone number as one of their doctor, rather than as a patient. I've gotten bills that were coded incorrectly, resulting in having to pay for services that were supposed to be covered by insurance. I've even gotten billed for visits that, according to their own records, never took place. The actual medical care is decent, albeit rushed. But if you use this doctor, get everything in writing and do not trust what they tell you in the office.

Dr. Nam has been extremely helpful and understanding of my health issues, PTSD and all that ails me. Even though a pandemic is arise I felt that Dr. Nam came to my rescue promptly and REALLY sees me, without judgement but with compassion. The staff are more than pleasant and very helpful. I highly recommend Dr.Nam's primary care! *****

Dr. Pedro Nam is a great doctor as is all of his medical and lab staff. I've had recent problems with his appointment staff. They don't answer call. Left messages for over a month to get an appointment and they never called back. On the fifth week they call me to book an appointment. At that time I had already seen another doctor. Dr Nam is a very dedicated and professional physician. I have great respect for him.

DR NAM HAS BEEN MY DOCTOR FOR OVER FOURTEEN YEARS HE VERY DEDICATED, EASY TO TALK TO AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

He is a very good doctor, is patience is listening to patients.

Dr. Nam is the best! He listens to you, is kind and professional and will make sure he gets to the bottom of what is wrong with you. He also has a great bedside manner, and due to all of the above my daughter and my husband see him now. They feel the same way too! His staff is awesome! They are on top of things, keep you informed, take care of scripts, etc . Special kudos to Catherine! We are so lucky!

Dr. Nam is a very knowledgeable caring physician but his staff can barely speak English and unfortunately they believe they're about the physicians. It's a shame to see the office staff make decisions on behalf of any physician who is on vacation. There should always be a physician available when the physician is not available. Once again, Dr. Nam is a professional, kind and caring physician but he needs to educate his staff into how to deal with any crisis when he's not available.

The providers are fine as health providers, but the management of the office is extremely poor and disorganized, which ultimately does affect patient health care. Wait time is always over an hr, the receptionists have absolutely NO idea what they're doing/poor training. I recently found out they have been over-charging us (no refunds given) for the past several years, so I highly recommend you do not trust what the receptionists say at all (including requiring you to pay up front!).

Great Physician but the staff experience extremely poor. Inexperienced and unprofessional staff, better management required.
