Dr. Pedro Banda, MD

Dr Banda is a fine doctor but he has never been on time for my apts. Most recently I waited I waited for 48 minutes to be seen.

Dr Banda was extremely thorough and descriptive in identifying my issue and reviewing the results of tests. He was also patient and answered all of my questions completely.

Dr. Banda has been great in explaining my situation. A situation that NO other doctor had found or even thought of. Explained exactly what was taking place and even drew me a picture so that I could visually see what was going on inside of me. While doing exam, he showed me the visual on the monitor. I have an upcoming surgery scheduled for March 25th, 2024. I will keep you posted on the surgery, and the aftercare as well as the team efforts to make me comfortable.

Dr Banda was very thorough.

He was ok, but didn’t explain much. Terrible pain relief given after surgery to someone that never takes medication for pain. Had UTI for 3 months after surgery. Always had to see assistant. Which was probably for the best. At one time both the doctor and PA were both out of the office for a week when still had UTI. Fill in doctor gave wrong medication. Terrible unrelenting hives within 1/2 hour. By that time my wife found me a new bladder cancer specialist at Froedert. Best decision ever. Ascension is going downhill.

My husband has been with Dr Banda for over 10 years and multiple surgeries. Dr Banda is outstanding. Quick and efficient. Very thorough. So glad to have him as my husband’s doctor. Absolutely the Best!

I’ve been going to Dr Banda for years and have always been pleased with the care I’ve received.

Dr Banda identified and conducted surgery for a new cancer in my bladder. He helped me understand every procedure and lab result along the way, and encouraged more to participate in the decisions. He relates well to me, is patient, and uses multiple media to be sure that I am following the discussion.

Dr. Banda is wonderful. He knows the best ways to eliminate prostate cancer in men in the least invasive way possible. His bedside manner is also fantastic. Dr. Banda takes the time to answer your questions and explain everything to you. My husband was blessed to have him as his urologist. He wiped out his cancer and did what is necessary to make sure the cancer did not spread.

Concerned about confidentiality from the minute we walked in the clinic with loud staff. Limited/insufficient information given to prepare for procedures. Medication given after second appointment. Called by doctor the next day requesting a return call. Called back. No response. Next day, got another call saying don't take initial medication but to take a new one. No explanation of why change, risks of new medication, or explanation of purpose of new medication.
