What a joke of a doctor. Don't even get me started on the receptionists or the wait time.

Met him after my husband had been in ICU for a few days because of a mistake this doctor made. He blamed everyone else for the mistake and never once apologized. My husband never regained consciousness and died. So no, I would not recommend him to treat your dog. Had to give a star to leave the review

The woman at the front desk is a complete b!tch. Her tone of voice is rude and she talks to people like they are inconveniencing her. The office is always overbooked. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have an appointment, I wait a MINIMUM of two hours. The office is clean, but the atmosphere is terrible. A psychiatrist treats mental health issues and having an office full of anxious people waiting two hours to be seen is almost unbearable. Sometimes patients lose their cool and it’s just bad all around

You may have a long wait to see him and scheduling urgent appointments is very difficult, but that's because he's a doctor that will actually sit and listen to your concerns. I've been coming to him for a year for what I thought was just depression, and come to find out I am actually Bipolar. He put me on a medication that helps me immensely, and when I mentioned my heightened anxiety, he helped me with coping techniques before prescribing another medication.

Before I moved to Chicago, Dr. Garg was my psychiatrist. He helped me with anxiety, depression, and other problems. He's very honest, answers all your questions and prescribes the correct prescriptions for your diagnosis. Dr. Garg was my doctor for over 25 years and he's the best.

Not very happy with this dr. I went to him with expectation that he was a good, thorough dr. like I have been told. I told him of my issues with anxiety, and ADD that went untreated most of my life, advised him of medications I had taken, what helped and what didn't. He agreed with the diagnosis I had received earlier of ADD/generalized anxiety. Then, after writing me one script for medication, he did a 180 and reverted to meds that did not help. I saw no point in seeing him further.
