Dr. Toth-Russell is fine...but office protocols?
Time spent WITH Dr. Toth-Russell is fine, but there's no way to leave a message, and definitely no way to talk to a human during the lunch hour - when OTHER PEOPLE are handling personal business! Sure would be nice if at least ONE employee would cover phones from 12:00 to 1:00 instead of shutting down the whole office, and eliminating options for working people to communicate during their lunch hours.

Very disappointed. If your office tells a patient they will be called back. Please call back.

After my initial diagnosis 18 years ago, she agreed to see me again even though I was no longer taking her prescribed medication for fear of long term negative effects. She was understanding and agreed to resume her care in addressing my disease.

My 17-year-old son has been a patient of Dr. Russell's since he was four months old. She has always spent whatever time necessary to explain diagnosis and treatment plans. We appreciate her kind demeanor and feel confident in her recommendations.

They are only allowing 500 characters here, every time I try to tell what experience I had with her office, I run out of characters, so in a nutshell this medical office was worthless to say the least. Never returned phone calls, made you jump threw numerous hoops just to try to get an appointment! Then without seeing any recent MRI made a judgement call that said she would not be of any help! Now talking to Rush Hospital in Chicago they will be able to get me right in! Worst experience so far

I've struggled with migraines for years. Dr. Russell has always been wonderfully supportive, actively listens to my progress with prescribed treatments and works with me to realize the best outcomes. The best Neurologist I've had the pleasure of working with.

Her office as zero sense of urgency in returning phone calls. Every time I call they say she's out of the office. Try to get a prescription for Alzheimer's called in and it takes weeks to get "approved". Appointment availability is very limited.

Dr. Russell is an awesome, educated doctor of neurology and other disorders. She is more interactive than my primary care provider, more detailed in information given during a visit, and is dedicated to the time spent on the patient during a visit. Dr. Russell also provides great out of the office care to needs as they arise.

During 2/3 of our appointment she was on her watch phone. At one point she asked me overall how I was handling mentally my new medical conditions, (which are serious) She fiddled with that phone the whole time I was talking. She did apologize, but I felt like she really didn't care how I was doing. It seemed very unprofessional. (And it appeared to me she was texting) I will not be returning to see her.
