Fail to diagnose and listen
She delivered my second daughter in 2008. I thought she was great in the delivery room. My eldest daughter menstral pain was getting worse and she began vomitting. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Pilgrim. I told her that I suppect that my doughter has endometriosis. She began to question me as if i was over exaggerating. She told me, 'if your daughter has endometriosis, you would know it. Plus, she would need a procedure to diagnose endometriosis.' She also said that I dont want to put her through that. I asked if she could do a pap since we were there? She asked my 12 year old if she wanted a pap and my daughter said, 'no.' She did not do the pap or listen to me about the endometriosis.Between November 2020 and March 2021, my daughter suffered three collapsed lung. She was cut from her waistline up the middle of her back. They open her rib cage to repair and remove overgrowth form her lungs. Can you guess what spread to her lungs?

I have been seeing Dr. Pilgrim for 20 years. There is no one else I would trust with my body or my baby's health. She has a lovely, yet realistic, bedside manner. If you want it sugar coated, see someone else. If you want real, see Dr. Pilgrim.

Arrogant, Cold and doesn't listen. Ready to do Endometrial ablation without discussing other options and treats you like you're stupid if you ask any questions. Intimidation is not what is needed at the bedside with your pants off. Very unsettling.

If you have a natural birth plan or plan to use a doula, absolutely do not see this OB. She was very cold and territorial with my doula, tolerated my birth plan, and was very controlling during labor and delivery in a very sharp manner WHILE I was laboring. No woman needs or wants any of that while trying to deliver their child. All around, her attitude made for a very unpleasant birth experience. She is not patient centered or pro-natural birth. She wants her births on a schedule of her own.
