Dr. Paula Deluca, DPM

First, I am grateful for Personal Physicians for referring me to Dr. Deluca. She was so intelligent, kind and gracious; an exemplary physician who really is concerned about my well-being. I look forward to my follow-up visit not only due to the expertise of Dr. Deluca, but also because the entire staff who I had the pleasure to meet, and who are equally professional and determined to give the best medical care to their patients.

Dr DeLuca treated my plantar fasciitis in a very caring, conservative manner. She gave me plenty of time to explain condition. Instead of rushing to give a shot she gave me exercises, told me to apply ice, take aleve and wear shoes with an arch. She did not try to sell me expensive orthodics and in fact approved of ones I already have. I was extremely pleased with her and would definitely recommend her. Feeling better already!

Dr. DeLica removed my husband’s toe nail without first discussing it with him or telling him that she was going to do it.. She began making several sharp cuts in his toe nail without nova Caine. After it was done she said, “I could have given you nova Caine but that would have hurt too.” I believe she did not give him an injection because he might have said no to taking off his toe nail which was exactly what he would have said. I bet she gets a lot of money for toe nail removal. He had bumped his toe and there was blood beneath the nail. It was still his choice not to get the nail removed. Also, he could have gotten another opinion before making a choice as to what to do.. He came to the office for an ingrown toe nail. She did not give him that choice. He is in a lot of pain and I am furious. It is my opinion that this was unethical. Do Not Use This Doctor! My husband is athletic and now cannot play tennis or golf until this unnecessary pain goes away.

Putting off foot pain was just stupid. I saw Dr. Deluca and wasn't so sure at first, however she was immediately able to relieve the pain but more importantly showed me the underlying reason for my discomfort which was not visible before. If this had been left alone or treated with home remedies there would have been serious consequences. Dr. DeLuca prevented this from happening. Foot problems are serious and should not be treated by the patient, she can make your life better, see her!! Very Satisfied!!

I normally do not write reviews, but I am highly recommending Dr. Deluca. She is kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable.She takes the time to know you and appropriately takes care of your problem. Best board certified podiatrist in So. Florida.
