Dr. Paul Weissblatt, MD

Now it was an emergency.Laura Zarick had an appointment with Dr Weissblatt to have her feeding tube replaced. he decided that she should have a different doctor from a completely different group. Remove her tube. Laura has been a patient of that practice for 20 years or more. He gave me the name of another practice. They called me and gave me a date a few weeks away to to see a doctor and then another date to have her tube replaced. Yesterday, Sunday February 23rd 2025 Laura‘s feeding tube came out we took we called 911 when they came they said we had to take her to the hospital At the hospital. They scheduled her to have her tub replaced. This would have been so easy if Dr. Weissblatt had replaced it on the day that it was scheduled to be replaced. If the tube had been out longer it would require surgery to operate on her to put a new access for her feeding tube. Laura is high risk for surgery. This all could have been avoided if he he’d replaced her feeding tube at the appointment that was scheduled to have it done.

Was told colonoscopy couldn't be completed due to a curvy and long colon and then was told he would no longer be at Cape Coral office on day of colonoscopy. Ordered a virtual colonoscopy which was very painful and won't explain results of the virtual only ordering more tests without explanation. He referred my to Naples without explanation and without my approval. Seems as though I've been dropped by that practice since he transferred me to Naples without my approval.

Dr listened carefully explaining all options for testing and why. All the time answering all my questions and respecting my wishes

This was the most rushed medical appointment I have ever encountered. Provider seemingly couldn't wait to be done and out.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Weisblatt and his entire staff. I have seen may Gastro’s who just want to throw medication at you and get you out of their office. Dr. Weisblatt will take all the time you need to listen to you and go over all possible options. I feel he is one of the very few that will listen and spend the time on your frustrations and concerns. Nicki is also beyond wonderful in helping navigate the morons at your own insurance company as well. They really go out of their way at the Fort Myers facility to help, so appreciated. 5 star plus!
