Straight shooter with a heart
Dr. Schwartz and his entire staff helped me through a difficult time. His skills as a surgeon are fantastic and he's a straight-shooter. If you're looking for someone to just tell you the truth and support you through your treatment, he's your guy. I would recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in need of brain surgery.

Amazing Provider
Dr. Schwartz and his team are nothing short of angels. They are amazing from the very first time I met with them. They made me and my family feel as part of the Hartford Healthcare Ayer Neuroscience Family from day one. Knowing that I was going through so much and that I was very frustrated, Dr. Schwartz was down to earth and very straight to the point. He didn’t sugar coat anything which I like about him. He explained everything and showed me my scans and what the plan was going to be. He walked me and my family through everything step by step. Not once did I feel rushed about anything, he always made sure any questions I had were answered. He even makes it a point during appointments to ask if he had answered all questions or if there was anything else he could help us with. When it comes to the rest of the team they are very punctual and helpful with everything. They make going through a rough time seem so easy! Thanks Dr. Schwartz for all you do and thanks to your team for their as

I was referred to Dr. Schwartz by another neurosurgeon who said "he is the absolute best" and the doctor he would use if he ever needed brain surgery. That was all I needed to hear. Dr. Schwartz is kind, compassionate, funny, and conservative in his approach. He explains all of the pros and cons and directs his plan of action to the patient's best options. I am so grateful that he is providing my care.

Dr Schwartz was very informative and helpful. However the garage could be more accommodating to let you know what floor to get off and once entering the building more signs. It is very confusing.

4 months after craniotomy I cannot say enough about Dr. Schwartz. Though formerly an LPN I was apprehensive when I learned I had 2 brain tumors. Dr. Schwartz is highly skilled and decisive, but easy to talk to, patient and kind. He helped me realize surgery was necessary on the growing meningioma, the sooner the better. Surgery went extremely well and I was home in 2 days. Now I understand that if the acoustic neuroma grows, I will be safe and in good hands. I trust him with my life.
