Still have terrible back pain after spinal fusion. Office is the worst I have ever seen and I am a physician. No one there cares about patients and never follow through on anything.

I recently had cervical surgery performed by neurosurgeon Dr. Paul Sawin (ACDF & Posterior Cervical Fusion C3-C6). I was impressed right out of the gate. I am a physician recruiter and have 30+ yrs. experience working in the healthcare field. I did a thorough investigation of his background before my first visit. I knew within the first 5 minutes of speaking with Dr. Sawin that HE was the neurosurgeon I would trust my life with. I have been 100% pleased with my decision. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled in complex cervical surgery & reconstruction. His staff was also top-notch. My questions were addressed before I even had to ask. I recommend him without hesitation. Thank you Dr. Sawin and team!

100% the best neurosurgeon in Central Florida. He spent the extra time explaining things and ultimately the surgery was 100% also. It was immediate relief after surgery.

I would definitely recommend Dr Sawin. He did my back surgery in January and I am very pleased with the results. He spent time speaking with us before the surgery and after the surgery. Came into my hospital room everyday to see how I was doing.

Excellent doctor. Straight forward in explanations and listened when I asked questions. Good bedside manner. Cares about his patients. My surgery went good and he made sure to check in on me before I left the hospital. The people he uses during his surgeries are the best of the best.

After reading the requirements to make an appointment, I e-mailed my MRI to the office with an attached letter and never heard back. After a couple weeks I found another surgeon that is more caring that would repair my C4,5, and 6 and had surgery. I'm very disappointed in the process in which to make an appointment with this doctor.

Dr. Sawin is extraordinarily competent as a spinal surgeon having performed on me a very complex multi-level lumbar stabilization emergency surgery. He is extremely patient taking his time explaining the condition, surgical procedure, short and long term recovery benchmarks. He does not sugarcoat the details and gives the patient reasonable expectations for outcome. But beyond the technical ability, he is the most compassionate and sincere human being I have ever met in the medical profession

I consulted with the good Dr., he was very nice but after he sent me for a CT scan, I never heard from his office staff again. I personally delivered my CT scan and was told he had to evaluate it before I could make an appt. I left messages over a 2 week period and no one called me back. No matter how many times I called his office, I did not get a response. I couldn't figure out why especially when he told his secretary to fit me in due to my operation being urgent. I dec. to see another Dr

Dr. Sawin and his surgical team are amazing. He performed my second back surgery and the difference in the quality of care, personal one on one treatment, the professionalism, and compassion with him versus my first surgeon is like the difference between daylight and dark. To this point, 5 weeks after surgery, I am in better physical and mental condition than I have been in nearly 3 years. I'm very pleased with Dr. Sawin. He can do no wrong!!!

My experience was nothing short of amazing; I met with with Lisa not the doctor (RN practitioner) she was knowledgeable, through and explained everything from what the next best step was and our concerns regarding potential back surgery. We found the entire staff friendly, helpful and kind. I was recommended to Dr. Sawin by the orthopedic surgeon who did my knee replacement as well as a physical therapist and a previous patient, so That says it all.
