I came to see Dr Pottinger due to a complicated medical issue and frequent infections. He was recommended by another doctor. He was kind and gave me excellent advice which I found helpful. There was bit of a wait to get to see him but well worth it.

I came to Dr. Pottinger after a series of bad incidents with other doctors—a botched surgery left me with an infection, a wound that wouldn’t heal, and a limb at risk of needing amputation. While other doctors continuously dismissed me carelessly, only Dr. Pottinger took extra care to identify the problem and solve it definitively. In a world full of mediocre and sketchy people, Dr. Pottinger made me understand that there are excellent and disciplined experts out there, who know how to solve problems with real knowledge and precision. Because of Dr. Pottinger, I still have my limb and I am very lucky and forever grateful to have been able to receive his care.

2/2: community. If he doesn’t have the scientific drive and curiosity to examine something that may be out of the ordinary, he shouldn’t be an infectious disease physician. He also claimed that I couldn’t possibly have myiasis because the specimens I brought with me —which I asked politely that he examine under a microscope and they refused—were too small. This is patently false and only makes sense if he has no idea how many different sizes of species can cause myiasis. it’s ludicrous
