Dr. Paul Pompa, MD

I was told by my PC Doctor to go to the ER this past weekend, and Dr. Pompa was one of my doctors. He was down to earth and made me feel at ease which is what I needed considering I was there for a heart issue I had never had before. He answered all my questions even though I didn’t know what I was asking, but my husband was there to remember. Dr. Pompa’s is a calm Dr. that you can understand and he gives you fist bumps when he’s done, and I’ve never had another Dr. do that. He calms you down more doing that. He makes you feel less nervous and anxious about what’s happening. I would definitely go see him again! You don’t need a doctor that makes you feel nervous or stiff.

Dr. Pompa has cared for my father twice in the ER over the past 5 months. I was so grateful for his kindness, compassion, and being so thorough. I was very impressed with the first visit, so I was really relieved when I found he was the treating physician when we had to come back. Paul Pompa is a great asset to the ER at THR Southwest, he truly cares.

My wife saw him in THR Southwest. She has a soft tissue injury in her knee. He put an ace bandage on her and said you're fine. Couldn't be bothered to run an MRI to actually diagnose what was wrong. $1000 for an ace bandage and no diagnosis. Having to go to our primary care physician then to an radiology clinic to figure out what's wrong. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
