Front office staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Park's medical assistants spoke very highly of him - which speaks volumes. During my procedure, I witnessed outstanding team collaboration. Dr. Park explained the procedure in detail, took his time to answer all of my questions and explained follow-up to my biopsy. Very strong communication skills and professionalism. I would highly recommend Dr. Park.

Dr. Park was very thorough explaining upcoming surgery and what to expect. I was amazed at the time he spent answering my questions. I was very nervous when I arrived, that quickly changed to being peace and confident that Dr. Park was right surgeon for my procedure. His professionalism and compassion surpassed all expectations. I was referred to Dr. Park for thyroid surgery. In a very stressful time, I immediately felt at ease talking to Dr. Park. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he is very personable, and he very clearly talked through my diagnosis and options with me. He helped me weigh various choices and I felt that I made a very informed decision. The surgery itself went better than I could have imagined, and every nurse that cared for me mentioned unprompted how Dr. Park always does a phenomenal job. He truly did - my recovery was extremely smooth, nearly pain-free, and I was back to normal within 24 hours! I am thankful I was referred to Dr. Park and would recommend anyone use him for thyroid surgery.

Dr. Park is an exceptional doctor and surgeon that I was lucky to have perform my thyroid surgery. I was impressed by his straightforward, common sense explanation of the issue and how he didn't bother with unnecessary procedures- instead was quick to diagnose and fix the problem. My recovery was extremely smooth and I owe very much to Dr. Park. He has an excellent bedside manner and seems to really care about his patients along with their outcome. He also seems highly skilled and I trusted him immensely. Highly recommend!

I waited in the exam room for 30min. I asked the nurse outside if I had been forgotten about. Dr. Park was on the phone with a patient & overheard my question. He said it's alright, your appt. was at 10:10, so you haven't waited 30 min. I told him my appt. was 10am. Responds with I'm not going to argue with you. He was rude & values his time more than patients.

Explained my condition very well and let me know the plan for treatment pre- and post-op.

I have been under Dr. Park care since January of this year. I highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable and patient with his patient’s He removed my thyroid and did and outstanding job caring for me

Met with Dr. Park regarding a thyroid issue. I found him to be very pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explained everything to me and answered my questions. I have no qualms about my upcoming surgery with him and happy that I was referred to Dr. Park by my endocrinologist.

While I’m sure Dr Park is great with some surgical skills, I found him to be difficult to connect with during and between appointments. By connect, I mean, he had his mind made up before entering the room and did not desire to go over everything he should have. Even though he ordered tests after first appointment, he does not feel it a duty to give those results when they come in. Instead, even though the patient can review them in their electronic chart, he requires a second appointment to go over them. This is not the usual practice with any doctor I have dealt with in the past. And, going over them took three minutes, he told me he wanted more tests and then I would come again after this. He didn’t listen to my concerns and it was a total waste of time and money. I’ve had other surgeries at Rex with different specialities and had great experiences. Dr Park is a real disappointment.

My experience with Dr. Park was incredible! He performed a total thyroidectomy on me. He took as much time as I needed to explain the procedure along with what I could expect during recovery. His performance was great as my recovery time was minimal. And the support and service I received from the whole REX staff was wonderful. Again I can?t thank Dr. Park enough form his skills in the OR to his bed side manner he is a true professional. Regards
