Patient for life
I love Dr. Martin, I had horrible hematologists that I went through before finding him. He appreciates my opinion and explains things thoroughly for me and works with my health goals. He does speak in an even tone with little "emotion" but I would never say he doesn't care. Just ask him questions and he answers!

I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviewer. This man has no humanity and is cold and heartless. He rests on his pedigree as a stem cell pioneer yet his thinking is outdated and he is now obsolete. In a five minute consultation with him, it was obvious he didn't know what he was talking about and he spent more time talking about how wonderful he was then actually listening. He needs to retire. He's a danger to patients.

He is extremely cold and uncaring. Knows his stuff but I will never work with him again. I'd even leave SCCA/UW/Fred Hutch if I was forced to be his patient as wonderful as SCCA has been.
