As his patient for 40 years and have worked with many physicians as a - now retired - RN he is one of the best. From heart attack, bowel obstruction, hip replacement and much more he diagnosed accurately, managed referrals and my recovery. He even tock time to cut off annoying skin tags before a trip to Las Vegas, But most invaluable is his genuine compassion, he is absolutely the best. His looming retirement is cutting my life line.

I have seen Dr. Mackell for several years, but I rarely go to the doctor, so it is difficult to get a real "feel" for a physician. I just had my second bout, of gout... I promise I am not about to bust into rhyme. This is only the second time, the first was years ago, I am in excruciating pain, and knew I needed. The first time this happened, I remember taking the drug and the next day my toe started feeling better. This time, he prescribed 3, at once, per day for the first three, two at once for the next three, 1 per day for the last three. It was a strange staggering, and all I know is that this is the end of night one and my toe is 80% better! He just knew what the body needed to heal efficiently, and got me on on feet in no time. He is good, the Force is strong with him...

He was my primary care Doc for 30 years and he is truly a wonderfully caring? Dr. I moved and that is the only reason I changed Doctors. He is my favorite Dr. in my entire life. I do love him. Jill Nieglos
