Do Not Recommend
My experience was very disappointing. I first was told to meet with a Consultant who did not know me for a routine screening colonoscopy. Dr. Lee did not see me to discuss the preps, my history, etc. prior to the procedure. I was prescribed a prep (two 6 oz. bottles) and followed the directions exactly including a non-fiber diet the week before. My colonoscopy procedure time was changed at the last minute, and the explanation when I asked was that 'the anesthesiologist was not available'. After the procedure, I was informed that it would need to be repeated indicating the bowel preparation was poor. The prep given should have been appropriate so the patient does not have to repeat another uncomfortable and inconvenient prep a second time! The Consultant also told me to tell the office that I needed a Charge Nurse due to my previous experience with Dr. Lee's nurses. There were not any charge nurses on duty; It felt like an assembly line and I do not recommend Dr. Lee.

Horrible Experience
Do not believe their reviews. If you take your health serious, you will not get the appropriate care with this office. You can’t even get an appointment with the actual doctor. They only will schedule you with a PA. On my last appointment that I insisted in seeing my doctor, because they don’t care how sick you are, and they only care to schedule you for a procedure where they can make more money out of the insurance , they took my insurance card and held it in the back office just to make sure they got paid. I have a PPO plan, and get treated like a second class citizen regardless. After my appointment, when I asked if I could get a follow up appointment they said that they don’t have anything available until the beginning of the year. Meaning I have to wait two months out to see anyone if I’m not having surgery. When the doctor gave me a new medication and even told me to return for a follow up. Ahhh, meanwhile I’m suffering and can’t even see a doctor!

Critique
Dr. Lee is the most insensitive, arrogant, and uncaring physician I have ever met. In the operating room, just before he was going to perform an endoscopy, I experienced severe spasms and excruciating burning sensation in my esophagus. It was impossible for me to lie still in light of the pain. His reaction was to literally bark at me to stop delaying the procedure and lie still. I was able to do so, and he completed the procedure. Afterward while I was in recovery, he very briefly stopped by and stated he could prescribe medication to take when the spasms occurred and then handed me the paperwork regarding the results of the endoscopy. Based on my experience, I would not recommend him as a gastrointestinal physician.

Endoscopy and Colonoscopy Procedure
Dr. Lee recently performed both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy for me. He was kind and accommodating, quickly finding an appointment due to a recent cancellation. Dr. Lee came highly recommended, and his approach was efficient and direct. The procedure was completed without complications, and I chose to forgo sedation, allowing me to return to work immediately. While I am still awaiting my results, I appreciate the care and professionalism Dr. Lee provided. I understand that all procedures carry risks, and I do not take that lightly so I am appreciative that I am still vertical.

I only met Dr. Lee for a moment prior to surgery; nonetheless, he was genuinely kind and friendly which is not always my impression of many physicians. He made me feel at ease and confident of my procedure. Thank you Dr. Lee.

I finally was able to schedule an appointment after trying several times to connect with a live person; appointment was short and yield very little information. You cannot get through if you try to call; received the same message and no call back. Very non responsive practice.

Colonoscopy
Dr Lee seemed professional and friendly. I literally met him on the procedure table. Was surprised and bit disappointed he didn't introduce himself prior to procedure as did the anesthesiologist. Having had other procedures, the doctors have always come bedside and talked to you prior. Procedure went well and Dr Lee spoke to me after in recovery.Calling Dr Lee's office is challenging as the majority of time they don't answer and/or return your call. Upon making an appointment I was unable to make it with Dr Lee without waiting another 3 months. As he was a new doctor for me I wasn't thrilled. My appointment was with the PA and everyone in the office was professional and friendly and it was on time.

Something that could be better but is not
I visited Dr. Lee office several times. It was pleasant to talk to the doctor and I had a feeling the doctor is experienced and intelligent. I had to ask pointed questions though to find out a little more about my problems as doctor did not immediately volunteer much, seemingly forcing himself to focus on my problem instead of more interesting subject occupying his mind. But I did get encompassing answers in the end. The main problem though was that every appointment had to be scheduled close to 2 months in advance. The good doctor in my view is the one that first of all is available. The front office is virtually impossible to call to - they are almost never reachable by phone and you have to wait for them to call back and if they do its not necessary when you are available. So good luck with that, Literally. Its been 6 weeks now for me trying to schedule a test and I pretty much gave up on it. So the doctor seems is good, if you managed to get to him and has some interesting problem.

Reprehensible care !
We got in to see Dr Lee’s PA Whitney . She ordered some tests for my 18 year old son . The CT scan was done on 2/10 and sent over that same day, but was not posted in the patient portal until 2/14. The scan showed he had possible cancer , a 16 by 9 cm mass . I had to read this in the patient portal on 2/14 with no explanation. I called Dr Lee’s office several times and have yet to speak to Dr Lee . We had to go on our own to seek care as we believed my son was in a critical state . Dr Lee’s office sat on the CT scan for 4 days. My son has an extremely rare aggressive cancer that needed attention . As the referring doctor it was his ethical responsibility to contact his patient.

Dr. Lee and his team very kind and professional
My colonoscopy experience was very organized and efficient. All the team worked very kind and professional making sure that I was comfortable for my procedure. Dr. Lee came to me after my procedure to make sure I was feeling fine and answer questions. Over all everything went fine. This is my first time in this facility and I would recommended to family and friends.

Procedure experience very organized and efficient.
My first colonoscopy experience was very organized and efficient. The prep instructions were very clear. A day before the originally scheduled appointment, I was relieved to have the option to reschedule my procedure to an earlier slot with my approval. The procedure started on time and was completed quickly. My only concern is that despite an 'everything looks normal, come back in 10 years' report that we all want, I have questions about some notes on my discharge paperwork that still haven't been responded to.

Dr. Lee is the consummate medical profession who provided excellent care and demonstrated caring bedside manners during my colonoscopy. I appreciated that he gave me the option of having a non-sedation procedure, which I elected. I’m glad I took that route. It went smoothly and was quick. Thank you, Dr. Lee! I highly recommend him.

Efficient pre-procedure. I deducted one star due to an oversight on prep instructions. Hospital staff excellent, facility excellent. Dr. Lee followed up with me prior to my departing the hospital. I had no complications from the procedure. The next day I received a courtesy call re: my condition. Very satisfied.
