Dr. Paul Lee, MD

Dr Paul Lee was my doctor for a number of years. Any complaints about my health were responded to with pharmaceuticals that did not to dispel my symptoms. After recently complaining about gut issues, he ordered blood tests & stool samples. These found nothing. A few weeks back, I suffered terrible pain abdominal & back pains, was hospitalized, and diagnosed as having diverticulitis. After being released, I suffered constipation and issue I had never suffered with previously. I called Dr. Lee's office & was contacted by his assistant who said he wanted more stool samples. I have now changed doctors & kidney stones, an enlarged prostate, & new issues have now been identified. Dr. Lee is not a good doctor though he has a great assistant named Myra.

I switched to Dr. Paul T Lee because I had been struggling for over 4 years with chronic insomnia. My hope was that as a "functional doctor", he would look at my body as a whole and help me find the root cause of this sleep issue. My first two appointments were cancelled on the day of. And the day of my appointment, I was awake for 3 days, and saddest o find out that Dr. Lee was no different that any of the other PCP's that I tried. His nurse was alike. No bed side manners or interest in knowing more about my medical history, quick to judge and dismiss. Harsh. I am not going to go into a lot of detail because is pettiness, but I find so demoralizing that the majority of the medical system in the US , specially in California, forget they sign up to help humans beings that are suffering. Maybe they became doctors for status, money or because someone in their family was a doctor. Who knows. All of these are wrong motives and it will show eventually. I understand we humans are flawed,

Had to followup multiple times over several weeks.. Regal Medical and the doctors that are part of the service are abysmal.

I suffered through two horrible Internists before I so fortunate to find Dr. Paul T. Lee. He has been my Internist now for some ten years. Unlike his predecessors, he really listens to you and takes notes!!! He actually answers the questions you ask, with courtesy and with clear, concise answers. He promptly submits all paperwork for seemingly-seamless authorizations. I will always be grateful to him for his patience, compassion, and thoroughness.
