Dr Leahy is an excellent surgeon with great bedside manner. He is straightforward and honest in his views which I appreciated very much. I am so happy with my results!

Absolutely Outstanding! I was traveling out of state for a breast augmentation and I can not say enough about how accommodating Dr. Leahy and Nurses were to me! Dr. Leahy was great with communication on all levels! Took time at consult to really talk over size, shape, etc to look as natural as possible and still receive exactly what I wanted. There was never a dumb question or too many questions at each visit. (I can't even count the amount of phone calls and emails I had sent debating what was best within the 3 month period). After surgery I had a scare with a breast lump. Dr. Leahy got me in as soon as I could get back to KC (I live out of state). I had a full exam and orders were sent out for u/s and mammogram with in the same day. Overall before, during, and after surgery I can not say enough with how my care was handled! Grateful I found Dr. Leahy for my surgeon!

I have worked with Dr Leahy on two occasions, once to have a cyst removed from my wrist and a second time for a breast lift, implants and liposuction. Dr Leahy is gentle, respectful, knowledgeable, honest, helpful and did an amazing job on both of my surgeries. He answered any questions I had, and after my plastic surgery, Dr Leahy and/or his nurse Maggie responded to emails within the hour, whether it was a picture I sent of a concerning spot or to ask in what positions I could sleep. I would recommended him to anyone!

If you’re looking for the best plastic surgeon in the KC area, you’ve found him. I couldn’t be happier with my results. In additional to his amazing surgical skills, his bedside manner is also great. Dr. Leahy returned all my calls and emails promptly. He really took his time answering all my questions at every appointment. My only regret is that I didn’t meet him sooner.

I have been working with Dr. Leahy for 4 1/2 years since I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in my left breast. After my surgeon performed a mastectomy, Dr. Leahy performed my implant surgery and also did a reduction on my right breast. It went very well and I have always appreciated the kindness and caring way I have been treated by Dr. Leahy and his staff during the entire process. As time passed I started developing capsular contracture around my implant. After I received the letter about the possibility of the textured implant (which I had) having the small chance of causing Lymphoma, I decided to meet with Dr. Leahy to discuss having my implant replaced. It has been the the best decision I ever made and wish I had done it sooner. The new implant matches perfectly with my regular breast and feels like my left breast did before I was diagnosed with BC in it. Thank you Dr. Leahy, his staff and the surgical team at Shawnee Surgery Center for taking such good care of me.

Dr. Leahy performed my breast reconstruction surgery. My left breast was reconstructed and my right breast was augmented. My results were nothing like he had told me to expect. One breast is way to high and the other hangs down. His communication skill are lacking. One visit it would be one story and the next visit something different. I'm very disappointed. I'm having another surgery with a different surgeon to fix the mess he left me with. :{

He and his staff at Monarch are simply the best! He took excellent care of me throughout the process and I just cannot say enough positive things and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Leahy performed my breast reconstruction surgery. My results were nothing like he had told me I could expect. He refused to perform revision surgery to correct my misshapen, irregular breasts. I'm left to find a better surgeon to fix his mess.
