Dr. Paul Kravitz, MD

I have never written a review before, but Dr. Kravitz behavior has weighed on my mind since I visited him this summer. I am a skin cancer survivor and came to him with a recommendation from a friend. My regular doctor was booked for several months and I needed immediate care. The doctor examined me alone, with most of my clothes on, and without additional lighting. I had to request further examination, which he did abruptly and begrudgingly. He told me he would slap my hand if not for Covid for my sun damage. I wear sun screen every day and the medications I take makes me hyper sensitive to the sun. If he had checked my chart, he would have known that. When I went to the receptionist to pay, he came out of his office to chastised me loudly, in front of another patient, for not having a conventional mailing address. I left embarrassed, upset, and still wondering if I have skin cancer any where on my body. His receptionists were wonderful, but I will never visit this doctor again.

Just had a great appointment with Doctor Kravitz* who I hadn't seen in over 10 years -he's very personable and clear and uses language I can understand, he took a lot of time to explain many ideas and care treatments for me - as an old guy my skin changes as I age and he was very kind and gracious in explaining things to me - I was very pleased and grateful he remains in practice - I recommend him and his front office staff highly if you have a dermatology need. Very easy to make an appointment and he was right on time with it. It was a very good experience.

Would not recommend this clown to my worst enemy. I made an appointment months in advance, but when I called the day before to confirm the address, I learned they canceled my appointment because they couldn't get a hold of me via phone. They need to stop relying on telephone numbers, as these occasionally CHANGE! Have you ever heard of email, people?! What's worse is that they refused to reschedule because of the inconvenience I had caused. These people are the worst!
