Dr. Paul Knapp, DO

Doctor Knapp did my hip replacement. It was very involved because it was at the same time I had a broken back. He did a wonderful job and all my follow up meetings were great… He really asked the questions to make sure I was doing OK.

He took the time to answer any questions I may have had about my situation without feeling rushed.

Dr Knapp was very personable and helpful regarding the path I should take.

Dr. Knapp displayed my x-rays, thoroughly explained the results, and described the treatment options. He was attentive to my questions, a great listener, and did not rush the conversation. Dr. Knapp ensured that I understood the options and that all my questions were answered. He is clearly focused on creating an excellent doctor patient relationship.

I was very comfortable with him. He spent time with me and answered my questions.

Dr Knapp was thorough..explained the xrays..my condition..and administered a shot that greatly reduced my pain. He was very kind and listened to my concerns.

Dr Knapp was very knowledgeable and friendly. We discussed different options for what I'm going thru and he wrote some referrals for some other specialist to confirm treatment options

His bedside manner is disarming and genuine. I choose him because of his experience “on paper”. As an ER RN I’ve been in the company of many and varied physicians and surgeons. This guy is the real deal! A surgeon that is as competent as he is, and to have the bedside manner he has, is RARE! I had bilateral MAKO-assisted total hip replacements 90 days apart and credit him and Providence Novi with an unqualified success story.

With Dr Knapp you be comfortable discussing from first visit to last , has personable traits many doctors are lacking. will accept questions and discusses all points of visits

I fractured my pelvic in two places and met him for the first time at Providence Novi Hospital. I was admitted to the hospital for 7 days and he kept me updated on my progress and was generous with his time answering my questions and concerns. I had three follow up appointments at his office and was given excellent care!
