Dr. Paul Kahn, MD

This incompetent, unprofessional and dishonest office recommended a biopsy performed on my prostate, charged me $520 for the procedure even though I have good insurance, and scheduled the next visit to review the results and plan a treatment program for prostate cancer 17 days into the future. Ten minutes before the appointment, when I was five minutes away from the office, I received a call from the office staff informing me that I would have to reschedule my appointment because the lab was at fault. It turns out that my prostate tissue from the biopsy sat in this office for 17 days and was never sent to the lab. The office staff threw the lab under the bus in order to hide their unbelievable mistake. Then, about a month later, I received an additional $35 bill for injections. If you want to receive competent, honest care and communication for urological issues, STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. Do what I did. Drive another 15 minutes and seek care from the Cleveland Clinic in Weston.

I have been seeing Dr. Kahn for many years. He and his staff are exceptional! They have gotten me through some difficult times. They are the 1st choice without question!

When I came to Dr. Kahn many years ago after seeing at least 3 other urologists, gynecologist and family physician and being told either I was making up my symptoms, or I had a female problem that would be helped with a medical device, many cystoscopies, x-rays, urine examinations, I found Dr. Kahn and he finally after a whole lotta pain was able to correctly diagnose my condition. It was not in my head. At that time, after several failed other invasive treatments, I was treated with a medication named Elmiron which had at that time been recently released as a safe, one of a kind med that treated the condition in question. Come to find out years later and after being on that med for many years that it causes vision problems, severe enough that now it is under a class action. It is still the only oral medication available as far as I know that may help, not sure. I do not remember about long waits, but I was thankful for Dr. Kahn for finally addressing my personal situation.

This was one of the worst doctor experiences I've had in years. They made me take a mandatory urine test to see the doctor. A test which they NEVER gave me results for or called me about. My appointment was at 8:30 a.m. but I had to wait over an hour to see Dr. Kahn. He spoke to me for 5 minutes, did a quick test and gave me a diagnosis with no further tests. Cut me short of my questions and said I had to go get expensive tests at the IVF and then schedule another appointment for him to go over the results. Nurse who came in 30 minutes later to give me the paperwork had no knowledge of the process. I asked her several questions to which she answered, "whatever the doctor said, that's what you have to do." I told her that he didn't say much of anything. Her reply, "just get whatever he sent you and come back." A very dismissive doctor and staff. Will NEVER book another appointment with this office.

I am astonished by how well this doctor is reviewed. Anticipate waiting a minimum of 60mins to be seen after making an appointment and showing up early, if not on time. The office itself is a joke, I can't tell you who the office manager is but I can tell you they aren't worth a damn. The office is a mess, how can you CONSISTENTLY run that late on appointments? How is it THAT HARD to pick up a phone to call a patient? How hard is it to show your patients that you CARE?!? The apparent answer, INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT. In all honesty, I don't expect this review to hold much weight but if you have made it this far, do yourself a favor and find a more professional environment to fulfill you medical needs.

The best Urologist no questions about that , he was able to figure out what was wrong with my bladder when 4 other Urologists could not . He saved my life literally. I wish he was my doctor for every other health concerns. He is the best and no one can discredit him for that. I appreciate him and respect him . I would 100% recommended Dr Kahn .

Dr. Kahn is a pro. Handled my situation quickly, efficiently, let me know right away during inspection it wasn't what I was fearing. He immediately did an ultrasound to confirm his diagnosis and set me at ease. Friendly and happy guy that obviously enjoys his work and is good at it. Dr. Kahn is now my "go-to" ball doctor!

Not too happy with the office staff and the manager Michelle. I missed two appoitments with this doctor so far, because I have not gotten conmfirmation calls. I spoke with the manager and she was not apologetic at all. She had an attitude about it and wouldn't let me finish talking. When I went for my one month follow up surgery appointment i waited 3 hours to be seen, and was told the doctor had a surgery to attend, If i was okay seeing the physician assistant. Which i was okay, if I didn't have to wait 3 hours. I was the first patient to arrived. No one even apologize for the all the time i had to wait. I understand doctor's appointments are not in and out, but 3 hours for a 10min visit?!!! Before i had the surgery and spoke with the financial person who programs the surgery, she never communcated with me that I was going to get a separate bill from anestesiologist. I got charge over a thousand dollars. Very dissapointing experience with the staff, not with the doctor I must say.

After no success with other doctors and being put on antibiotics for 5 months because no one could figure out what was wrong with me, my GP recommended I see Dr. Paul Khan. It took less than 15 minutes for him to determine I had kidney stones. He scheduled surgery and I felt like a million bucks agian. He and his PA were knowledgable and I was so happy to be out of pain! Highly recommend Dr. Khan

Dr. Kahn was very disappointing. He didn't care about my pain level and pretty much told me that I was lying about my condidtion. He told me to go home and make it worse so he could treat it. I left with no satisfaction or relief. However, he didn't mind charging my insurance $2,100.00 for my 30 minute visit. PLEASE DON'T SEE THIS "DOCTOR".

Nasty customer service, they are used to treat people however they want, not flexible to work with each patient and meat their needs.
