Best neurosurgeon out there in my opinion. It was my first major surgery and first time under anesthesia. The office staff and the doctor made me feel so comfortable, the prep was easy and surgery went smoothly. The most important thing is he listen to everything you have to say even if you go on a rant.

Dr. Hartzfeld was very nice and informative. He had great eye contact and I felt like he really listened to what I had to say. He also answered all of my questions. I was very impressed with the care of Dr. Hartzfeld and his staff.

I chose Dr. Hartzfeld over other surgeon as I felt he best analyzed/described my condition; how he would treat it; and I thought his bedside manner was great. He was very up front with the plus and minus of having surgery.
