Dr. Paul Hartmann, DDS

Over the past 7 years my husband and I have had several oral surgeries each and find Dr Hartmann to be an excellent, gentle surgeon with great outcomes and care for his patients . Staff has been kind and thoughtful as well.

I highly recommend Dr. Hartman. On the Friday before Christmas I drove into VA to visit my sick father. A few weeks earlier I had oral surgery and I began to experience increasing pain. I called around and of course no one was working, except Dr Hartman. They welcomed me to come in. Dr Hartman examined me and determined that no emergency surgery was needed. He was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. The staff were friendly. His office is immaculate. He gave me recommendations to treat the pain. He did not charge me. Unbelievable. I do not live in the area but I highly recommend this office for anyone who does. Thank you again Dr. Hartman

Main problem was not feeling welcome by the receptionist - she may not like young children. I was with my grandson while waiting for my daughter for 2 appointments. Would leave if he was annoying or loud. The second appointment was when she wanted me to giver her a number for my daughter to call when she was done - she was done in about 10 minutes. Went outside after about 5 minutes since I felt uncomfortable when it was obvious she didn't want us there. Would not go back. Prices high.

Horrible experience with this oral surgeon who I had been a patient for several years. During a dental emergency, he was dismissive and arrogant and failed to tell me why I was having so much pain. I had to go to the Williamsburg Dental Group next door to get them to explain to me what Dr Hartmann would not. I was able to relieve the pain with numbing gel once I knew what I was dealing with, but thought it was a nerve problem due to the severe pain. Never again

A great office - fabulous Doctor. He could not be kinder nor more competent. I have recommended him to a friend who was very pleased.
