Had been going to see Dr. Gotlieb for many years. Last time I was there, he asked me if I wanted an HIV test. I told him I did not want or need one. I got my blood test results back the next day…including the results of the HIV test that I clearly said I did not want. I did not report him, but everyone I told this story to says I should have. They’re right.

Dr. Gotlieb has been my primary physician now for years I first found him on the list of Twin Cities Best Docs. I have a high level of trust. He has been a good doc. for me. Meets individual needs. Highly recommend

I very much appreciate Dr. Gotlieb's care, and the time and attention he puts to his patients. However, I am looking at changing doctors simply because of how TERRIBLE the scheduling and nursing staff is. No ability to listen, cut you off, no empathy, no care in the patient. They could use a basic course in empathy and customer service.

Dr Gotlieb is the best doctor you can imagine. He is smart without arrogance. He cares about the patient and is a superb person. All doctors should take lessons from him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gotlieb for about 25 years. He is very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. His staff at Fairview Clinics have always been so helpful and quick to return calls. I am so happy to have a doctor with whom I have the utmost trust.

Dr, Gotlieb has provided me with excellent care. It is the waiting on the phone and no e mail (on the site) to send a message, or ask a question. As I write this I am on hold. 14 minutes and counting. Is this necessary? "All patient assistance is currently on line with other callers, please stay on the line for assistance as soon as one is available. (paraphrased) Gotta get to work, will reluctantly try later.

Dr Gotlieb was one of the best internists in town when he was at Consultants for Internal Medicine. He cared. he took time and as a patient I felt that he was listening and taking time. This is no longer the case. Getting someone to call you back is impossible. every interaction feels like an inconvenience. they have triage nurses whose only role appears to get you in the office to charge a fee. a great doctor has been compromised by corporate medicine.
