I am shocked and dismayed about this providers practice. I have sought Dr Deckers treatment for many years. I have brought my family to his practice and entrusted him with all aspects of my health. Though his treatment was somewhat remedial and arcane, I felt his seemingly genuine concern compensated. His long time staff was highly efficient and I felt a familiarity with them that was comforting in times of need. However, in the midst of my illness following exposure to black mold and asbestos, he determined to sever me from his practice and my treatment for missed appointments. When I called to clarify I was told he had a policy of discontinuing treatment after 3 missed appointments during the entirety of service. This to say that if you are a patient for 7 years and in that time miss 3 appointments he will terminate service regardless of health conditions or treatment. In my case, it was stated that he was ‘generous’ 13 months ago and gave me a fourth opportunity. Rhyme nor reason for the missed appointment matters. My problem is that this policy nor cancellation policy is displayed promenintly or otherwise reminded until it’s already a problem. It would seem practically effortless to add this information when setting an appointment or during check in just as updating other information including insurance information or billing information. Many practitioners have missed appointment policy however, in my experience, others make it very clear when setting appointments or sending appointment reminders. I was literally sobbing in devastation. I am a firm believer that when one door closes another opens so my life will be fine absent this man, though no credit to him. But I would not invest too much trust or emotion in a practice that will dispose of you like yesterday’s trash before posting or annually updating policy for patients that could have devastating results if not followed. I stayed with this practice because I believed he actually cared for me and my loved ones. But he has made it clear it really is about business and softly spoken but highly consequential personal policy. I was told that though I am the primary insurance holder my husband and children are still welcome…just not me. If it weren’t so offensive I’d lol but instead I can only smh. Years building a relationship in vain. I fear the righteousness I believed I saw was more accurately self-righteousness. I feel duped. Just my opinion, proceed with caution if at all. Not all that glitters is gold. Follow up: Dr Deckers online appointment booking system also makes no mention of his lifetime ‘three strikes, you’re out’ policy. Nor does any of his ‘about’ pages including this one???????

If I could give a zero I would
Proceed with caution. I have entrusted my and my loved ones health to Dr Decker for years. Though I am in the midst of ongoing treatment and sought an exam following exposure to black mold and asbestos Dr Decker severed my treatment with his practice due to a missed appointment. When I called to clarify I was told that 13 months ago Dr Decker had been ‘generous’ to allow me another opportunity after missing 3 appointments in 7 years no matter the reason for missing. Though I don’t recall the conversation I will concede it may have happened. However, this personal policy is not posted anywhere. It is not reviewed during scheduling along with updates to insurance or billing information. It is not on the web site when scheduling online. I feel blindsided having been swiftly discarded without remorse. I am almost ashamed to have allowed this man to the priorities in my life…my family and my health. After years building a relationship I feel utterly devalued by this man.

Was able to get a new patient appointment very quickly. Entire staff was efficient, professional, and courteous. Didn't have to wait long at all. Was able to get in a few minutes ahead of my scheduled time and the doctor and nurses were attentive to my issues and judgement free.

NEVER GO TO THIS DR! EVER! I am a new patient, I picked him for a VERY SPECIFIC reason, called and schedule an appt. I noticed upon the first schedule that the lady on the phone was rude but I thought she was having a bad day and I moved on. Within the next 3 weeks the Dr's office CALLED ME TO RESCHEDULE the APPT THREE TIMES! Finally when I was beyond frustrated I called them back and BOTH JESSE and CRYSTAL were SO RUDE that I never ended up seeing the dr. Both my husband and I NEEDED to see the Dr weeks ago when the first appt was made. We were told in a EXTREMELY rude way that the Dr had been in a car accident, which was not true and then his nurse practitioner was also in some sort of "accident" of which, I don't believe is true either. I was told, "HE HAS THINGS TO DO. HE IS HUMAN!" (I get that) and she rudely placed me on hold for another lady, CRYSTAL to be extremely rude to me, telling me, "WELL, YOU NEED TO FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER THEN!" Yes. I do. STAY CLEAR OF THIS OFFICE!

Dr. Decker is always attentive and actually listens to you without interrupting after 10 seconds. He walks through the logic of his diagnosis, which few other doctors do. I have been with Dr. Decker for over 10 years and have recommended him to multiple friends and family, who now use him.

I first saw Dr Decker when he was at The Sadler Clinic in The Woodlands, TX in 2005. He has helped my entire family with our healthcare for over a decade! He is very pragmatic, empathetic, and always sees things in a positive manner; a wonderful doctor who really cares for his patients and staff! The only doctor I have known that doesn't give up and keeps fighting with you; in order to find an answer to your healthcare needs! Oh, all of his staff have always been cheerful and accommodating!

Excellent bedside manner, always makes time to go through things fully. Dr Decker is not only an excellent doctor nut also an empathetic, caring and patient human being. He makes his patients feel important and listened to. He has helped me and my husband through some truly difficult times, and I will be forever grateful to him. He will be my doctor as long as I live here (and if we move, we’re taking him with us!). I can not recommend him highly enough.

Dr Decker takes time to listen to his patients, and actually will treat the underlying causes and not just treat symptoms. He is also a man of principle, while I was his patient there was an issue with the clinic admin and dr/patient relations (the amount of time a Dr was allowed to spend with a patient per visit) and he chosen the side of his patients over clinic administration. Between Phili, San Fran, Houston and now Montana, Dr. Decker is hands down the best doctor I've ever had.
