Dr. Paul Buechel, MD

Dr. Buechel has great bedside manner in explaining to the patient and family the prognosis and is very knowledgeable in the best treatment options that are appropriate that do not pose the greatest risk. We were very pleased with the care he gave our lovedone and how he kept us informed and walked us through what to expect and how to deal with the prognosis. I would highly recommend him for any neorological issues or concerns as he seems to be one of the best.

Dr. Bechel was absolutely GREAT! My wife and I just loved this man. I would stay with him forever if his office didn't call me and tell me that I needed to find a new Neurologist somewhere because he has given no indication of when he's coming back or if he's coming back! What a SHAME! I finall find a Neurologist I absolutely LOVE and now I have to find someone else! I would defintely recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Buechel is great provider because he is nice to his patients and listens. He does not cut you off and is outstanding at explaining disease processes. He actually thoroughly examines his patients unlike most who just order expensive studies.

Dr. Buechel is an excellent doctor. He is a rare breed. He listens carefully to his patients and takes as much time as needed for their needs. Have not seen a doctor like him since I was a child. He is so kind and approachable, but also super intelligent. If you truly want a doctor that will go out of his way to help you, then he is the one. You will immediately realize this within the first minute that you speak with him. Awesome Doctor!

Communicating with his office is a nightmare again since his nurse Devin quit in the beginning of May this year. My wife has been waiting since May 12th to get started on a new multiple sclerosis medicine. The office made a mistake on the presciption order and the specialty pharmacy can't fill it until it is corrected. The pharmacy, MS Lifelines and I have been trying to communicate with the office for about a week with little success. When you call you usually get sent to voice mail. It took me three phone calls in the last 24 hours to finally speak to a nurse today June 3, 2020. I was told that the doctor has to sign a brand new order form tomorrow when he is in the office again. Another delay in this computer age. This is no way to run a practice.

Dr Buechel was so nice during my procedure. Billing leaves a lot to be desired. They were not willing to help after I was charged an outrageous amount for the procedure. I was lead to believe by staff that the cost “wasn’t that bad” so I had it done. With a deductible of $6000+ I knew I would be paying out of pocket. Long story short the cash price is $300-$400. They want me to pay $800+!! As I said before, they are unwilling to adjust the amount! Especially in these hard times. Very frustrating to say the least. Won’t be going back even though I absolutely loved Dr Buechel :(

I absolutely Dr. Buechel. He has the best bed side table manner of any doctor I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of doctors. He takes the time to explain every thing that is going on with you. And his nurse Devin is a wonderful person as well. You can tell he really loves and cares for his patients he is seeing before the doctor sees them. He makes sure Dr. Buechel knows why you are there and what is going on lately with you. You can clearly tell that this practice works close together to help you come up for a treatment plan going forward. I love this neurology clinic. I've gone to different ones over the years. and I will not go to any other clinic ever again now that I have found these guys! Thank you guys!!! Jessica Dillon

He has the best bedside manner of any doctor we have ever had. His smile fills the room, and I know he is giving my husband, with dementia, the best care possible. Could never have picked anyone that we trust so much.

I just wanted to stop by and share my experience with this amazing physician. He is truly a God send to me and my family. He is by far one of the most caring and genuine persons I know. His faith is evident and always has my best interest in trying to help with all my issues. I appreciate and am so grateful he is a part of my healing process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Buechel has been my neurologist for several years now and he is the BEST! He is highly skilled and trustworthy, and always takes the time to explain everything about your diagnosis, care, and treatment. He is attentive and thorough and helped me recover from my previous neurologist who tapered me onto medicine at a dangerous level after being off of meds for 10 years. Dr. Buechel is a very kind man, and his whole team goes above and beyond to deliver excellent service every time I am there!

The most kind, sincere, whole hearted doctor I have ever met. Visited him because my fiance has multiple sclerosis and she needed a new neurologist. He answered every question we had before we could ask it. Recommended he do an EMG test to get some insight on some problems she was having. Discovered sever carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists. He went above and beyond by contacting her PCP and her pain doctor to create and maintain a team effort overseeing her health. Will recommend to everyone.

Dr. Buechel is the best, most caring physician I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. This is a pretty tall statement because I've had Crohns disease for the past 16 years and have met at least 100 different doctors over the course of that time in hospitals, offices, and a wide variety of communities. I have never met a doctor who is so compassionate and empathetic towards me as a patient. I'd like to give him 100 stars, but the system will only let me mark 5 for excellent.

He was so helpful. I had several things I thought needed to be done. I didn't have to ask; he suggested everything on his own. And so generous with his time, listening to what I needed to say.

Dr. Buechel us a very caring heart felt dictir. He understands the difficulties your having and address each issue. He takes his time during your appointment and discuss your concerns with out rushing you in and out to get to the next patient. Very considerate and informed. He evaluated my condition and the likely improvement and timing that I could expect. I moved 700 miles away and had to see other doctors but was not satisfied with their prognosis, so I traveled back to Dr. Buechel.
