Dr. Tomak gave me my life back.
Dr. Tomak performed a removal of a tumor which was pressing against my spinal cord. From the very first visit he was kind and explained everything I needed to know about what I had, what my options were, and, ultimately, what the outcome would be. I recovered in much quicker time that I could have imagined and it was all attributed to how well Dr. Tomak handled the situation. I am forever grateful.

Top neurosurgeon in CT
Overall excellent experience and surgery. Explained everyting in detail as well as choices. Did not rush to recommend surgery. Midstate hospital is top notch. Excellent anesthesia. Surgery completely relieved my back pain

Excellent I had visited two other neurosurgeons when I met Dr. Tomak. As soon as I met him, I knew he was the one I wanted to do my surgery. He is kind, down to earth, very knowledgeable, took all the time I needed to answer questions. His staff is the same way. I never felt lost or not cared about through the whole process. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation.

A superb Neurosurgeon
Dr. Tomak has successfully performed two surgeries on my spine. The surgeries resulted in resolution of my disabiling pain and improved my mobility. He is a compassionate and brilliant surgeon.

Fusion and laminectomy
Dr. Tomak did a procedure on my aunt that resolved her problem that 2 other neurosurgeons, an ortho doctor, a acupuncturist, a chiropractor and nerve specialist couldn’t solve or diagnose which is why I went to him with my back issue. He told me 6 years ago after my initial visit that eventually I’d need surgery and he was right. After 3 pain injections I had surgery on Oct. 11 and am on way to recover pain free. Love his low key no nonsense approach. Love me some dr. Tomak!!

Great Results (Spinal Fusion w/Laminectomy)
I highly recommend Dr. Tomack should back surgery be needed! I felt he was thorough and educational from our first meeting. The surgery went very well and I am pain free! The entire process leading up to surgery was organized and efficient through CT Spine Center in Meridan. All the office and post-op staff were professional and friendly with assistance readily available. My recovery has been very smooth and I am on my way back to my former active lifestyle!
