I can’t wait to live life to the Fullest!!!
I can’t thank this team enough…. It goes way beyond the surgeons…. First off, I am so blessed and grateful with my surgery team and how I was treated, listened to, and most of all how genuinely concerned they were about my well being and overall health. I was terrified walking in to the office not knowing what was ahead of me. I’m 50 years old and felt wow, OHS… As soon as my husband and I walked in their office I was greeted in the best way. I thought.. “ I got this!”….As soon as we met Dr. Rudersdorf, I knew he was going to be the surgeon.. I felt so at ease and he listened to me…I had my very successful aortic bovine valve replacement on 1-8-2024… happy birthday heart!! While I was in the hospital, I was treating way beyond expectations. EVERYONE was amazing and treating me like they were taking care of their own family member. The staff was so awesome. I want to thank the surgery team once again for everything and blessing me with many more years to spend on this earth!

While Dr. Rudersdorf performed a successful aortic replacement surgery on my husband, for which I am grateful, I was left in the waiting room many, many, hours w no word of how my husband was doing, or where he was, Basically no one spoke w me after the surgery was completed so I was left wondering what was going on, and fearing the worst. I finally tracked my husband down in the ICU , I had received a text message after the surgery was completed but no one came out & spoke w me to tell me how it went ,so MANY hours later I called around the hospital & found him. The ICU nurses were very busy w him so I got minimal information about his condition. While the surgery appears to have been a success, the lack of communication was EXTREMELY stressful & I would not wish that experience on anyone waiting on information on a loved one.

I had AAA surgery 09/2017. Very afraid about having surgery Dr R did a wonderful job and cared so much for my health prior to surgery!! I appreciate him saving my life very much. I feel that his office staff was very laxed in my care after surgery. Making promises to do somthing to help with my recovery and failing more than once left me feeling like they really did not care! I had a rash from a reaction to a med and plueral effusion had my daughter not stepped in I am not sure how things would have been taken care at my follow up!! It was a difficult time and could have been so much easier if the office would of been more patient care orriented after!!!

Dr. Rudersdorf performed emergency surgery (10 hours) in December 2016. I honestly do not believe I'd be here today were it not for his superior skills, genuine care and concern for patient well-being, and his commitment to excellence. I had an aortic dissection as well as an aortic valve replacement. Dr. Rudersdorf never have up on me, and against all odds, he saved my life. He was there (still is) through every step of my recovery, and was always there for my family, too. Deserves 10 stars!

Dr. Rudersdorf is an exceptional doctor in all aspects. My mom needed aorta surgery due to an aneurysm. He performed a miracle and my mom recovered so quickly! He was always available and so kind to answer questions in an empathetic way yet very knowledgeable. He is most thoughtful throughout the pre and post surgery care process and we not only recommend him highly but also cannot thank him enough for saving my mom's life! He truly cares about his patients and we will always be thankful.

This man saved my life. It was an emergency situation and he explained everything calmly and throughly to me and my family. Then operated on me for nearly 13 hours. He was instrumental in my follow up care, including more operations. One of which saved my leg! I'm so grateful for this doctor! He's truly dedicated to what he does and strives for the best for his patients and their families.
