Highest Level of Surgical Care
Dr. Roth is an outstanding physician who demonstrates the highest level of care for his patients. Dr. Roth met with me on two occasions, 45 minutes each, answered all of my questions and addressed all my concerns with in depth explanations. I have great confidence in Dr. Roth’s care.

DR ROTH VALUES HIS PATIENT'S END GOAL, NOT HIS OWN
Dr. Roth is extremely conservative when it comes to opting for surgery. He is very thorough at gathering medical imaging and exploring many other options to address the cause of pain, disc degeneration, and bone spurs that continue to plague my spine. The only drawback to his plan is the slow process of trying various methods to find an alternate procedure that would successfully cure my pain and the suffering I must endure in order to avoid a surgical fusion that I can never undo. So, Dr. Roth always has my best interest at heart, never for his own gain.

I have had three back surgeries with Dr. Roth. He was the only surgeon who could find my fracture in my back. He was thorough and he knew after my first few visits that I only would visit him when I was in need of surgery. He explains your options and make you feel very comfortable. As far as his office is concerned, I am a persistent person so I had no issues with getting an appointment as soon as possible.

If I can put a 0 or negative stars I would!!!! We have been waiting for an appointment for over 3 weeks. The ac appointment is tomorrow November 18, 2020. The appointment is for my father who is in critical pain and has been desperately waiting for 3 weeks. Today I received several calls from his office. On fi call, they told me that doctor had an emergency and need to reschedule and I was offered December 9 as an option. Not a good solution as I have to keep my dad in pain for another month (not professional) but the lady told me someone will call me back. 10 minutes later I receive a call that they do not accept Medicare insurance (WOW). No I am not complaining that they do not accept Medicare, but holding a patient in pain waiting for 3 weeks just to find out that they do not accept Medicare. Doctors are here to help patients, what is so difficult in letting patient know that insurance is not accepted at the time of the scheduling of an appointment.

I hate giving this negative review since I will admit Dr. Roth is a good surgeon. His front desk has trouble following through with necessary tasks for the patient. Twice, Ramona, the scheduler, mishandled my procedure appointments by forgetting to schedule the first one and forgetting to get insurance pre-admission information on the second one. When a patient is in pain for months at a time, these incidents are not needed. Patti, the front desk appointment scheduler gives the impression she is bothered by your call. I worked in this position for years and would never run an office like this. After informing the doctor through his assistant of these problems, he never reached out to me. Will find a better office. Heard HSS is exceptional. Should have started there in the beginning.

I found Dr. Roth to be the ideal physician. He is extremely thorough, smart and kind. He obviously likes what he is doing and cares very much about making the right diagnosis and doing what is best for the patient. Although he is a neurosurgeon, he is reluctant to do surgery unless he is convinced there is no other way. All questions are answered and then some. I feel lucky to have found him and am most grateful.

After suffering several herniated disks due to a car accident, I consulted with numerous doctors and completed physical therapy and pain management without any pain reduction. Subsequently I met with Dr. Roth and after thorough testing he performed cervical spinal fusion. Thanks to his expertise, I was able to resume a normal lifestyle. As I like to tell people, Dr. Roth gave me my life back!
