Dr Patrick Risch is an amazing doctor. I elected to go with LAL. I had my surgery in March of 2024. I wanted to wait till I had my 6 month follow up to leave a review. I just had my follow up . My vision is great. No more readers or contact’s at this point. Thank you Dr Risch, Dr Cooke and staff.

Dr Risch is an excellent physician. He explains the procedure & takes the time to answer questions. He follows you from the beginning of your visit to following up with you personally by phone. I am thrilled with the results & so blessed I had him. Thank you Dr. Risch!

I was very nervous to start my journey into getting LAZIK, but Dr. Risch was very reassuring and very informative. He was very confident in the information he provided and gave me his expert idea in what he thought was best for the type of LAZIK I received. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The coordinator Gayla was also very helpful and was happy to answer any additional questions I had. I am still recovering and I have received a couple of follow up appointments from Gayla and Dr. Risch, which i have appreciated.

Dr. Risch is a wonderful ophthalmologist and surgeon. Would not trust my eyes nor my family’s to another surgeon. He explains everything, does not try to get you to do something you are not sure of. And his follow up is commendable.

Cataract surgery was one of the best decisions I've made. I would highly recommend Dr. Risch for the surgery. He is very competent and also explains all your options and the procedure thoroughly. Very pleased!

My cousin, a pilot, encouraged me to get cataract surgery with correction, Gold Level, sooner, rather than later. I had been told for years that cataracts were starting, but that I didn't need to then address the situation. Speaking with Dr. Risch encouraged me that if I were ever to get it done, it was good to do it earlier, rather than later. I have worn glasses since second grade, but I would have loved never having to have worn them. I am so happy that now I no longer need to! Dr. Risch is friendly, courteous, personable and professional. In our first interview, he informed me of what I could expect from the procedure, and laid out the various options. He was thorough and allowed me time for as many questions as I wished to ask. The surgery itself was smooth as silk, absolutely no pain at all. Follow up visits were with another physician, but Dr. Risch personally called to check up on me three weeks or so post op. I feel that the entire experience could not have gone better.

Surgical nurses and anesthesiologists working for this surgeon are amazing; I wanted to send them flowers. Surgical results were negative, for three separate reasons. I was told at a series of follow-ups with... not the surgeon but the optometrist (hello?), the problems would resolve over time. I hoped they were right. They were not. Correction was possible if addressed within a short time, so wait and see was a disaster plan. I asked for referral to a surgeon capable of correction. Nada. I am now in touch with a patient advocate. I regret this surgery which bought me real problems I deal with every day. I was perceived as a problem patient, exaggerating. This was made clear. The advocate is an RN and said this is not uncommon. She sees this every day. Terrible.

Dr. Risch and his team provided outstanding care before, during and after my cataract surgery. Dr. Risch took time to answer all my questions and concerns prior to my procedure. The information video regarding the surgery process is informative and reassuring. I am thrilled with the results and so glad I chose the Gold Level. The post-op care and communication coordinated between Dr. Risch and my optometrist was excellent. Dr. Risch changed my life!

Dr. Risch explained what my results could be from the cataract surgery at our initial meeting. This relieved my concerns and increased my understanding. He did an excellent job; my eyesight is better than ever. He followed up with a call to see how I was doing. I am very pleased. He has a nice personality, easy to talk to. And he assured me that I could contact him if I had any questions or concerns as time goes by.

Dr. Risch is very kind and professional. He performed surgery on both eyes and I am so pleased with the results. I highly recommend him.

I had cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I feel lucky to have had Dr. Patrick Risch for my surgeon. Don’t put off this procedure. Dr. Risch is a pro and is very kind and caring. Both my husband and I are seeing great after being in his care at The Eye Center.

Dr. Risch is at the top for performing cataract surgery. He removed mine and did what was needed to be done so I could continue to drive my car AND be able to read small print without glasses. I thoroughly recommend him to anyone who desires to trust a very experienced and knowledgeable eye surgeon.

Best overall medical/optical experience ever. Dr. Reisch has been and continues to demonstrate the highest level of expertise and patient interaction within his profession. He is extremely dedicated to perfection for a patient's eyesight and I could not have been anymore blessed that to find myself in his chair for 2 separate eye surgeries. Had cataract removal and glaucoma stents placed. Very happy with Dr. Risch and staff. Sight my better after surgery. I highly recommend the Eye Center.

An absolutely excellent experience! I had cataract surgery with trifocal lens replacement. It was a miracle! I could see perfectly immediately after surgery in both eyes after wearing glasses or contacts for 57 years and having terrible vision. I have had no problems whatsoever since. Dr Risch is a wonderful physician with a superb bedside manner, and the whole staff is fabulous. Do not hesitate to get this procedure and these wonderful new lenses now available! I could not be more grateful!

I recently had cataract surgery both eyes Dr. Patrick Risch. I had Radial Keratotomy several years ago and success after surgery could be affected by this. I chose the Vivity lens to hopefully get the best vision results and Dr. Risch took precise measurements of my eyes and my pre and post op care was excellent. I also have dry eyes and management of this has been good with recommendations for extra help with this. Dr. Risch is very knowledgeable regarding refraction and what I might need if glasses are needed. I definitely have the visual correction the vivity lens is hoefully going to give someone. He is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him and the Eye Center if cataract surgery is needed.

For me Dr. Risch performed a miracle. I have worn glasses since age 9 and contact lenses since age 17, in 1969. I had very bad astigmatism from wearing the old style contacts. My vision deteriorated over the last 5, or so, years until it became problematic. I went to Dr Risch in consultation for cataract removal. He is kind, patient, answered all my questions, was relaxed & gave no indication he was in a hurry to leave. I have been wearing mono vision contacts for about 20 years & he said he could replicate that w the implants. So, no reading glasses!!!! He and his staff are top of the line and I can't recommend them highly enough. I have perfect vision and I'm still in awe. He changed my life for the better.

Cataract surgery. Based on an evaluation of my health status, (pituitary tumor impacting optic nerve), Dr. Risch advised the selection of Vivity lens to correct my astigmatism and provide my best vision. My results are incredible. I can see better than when I was in my 30’s. I have clarity and sharp focus at far and mid-distance. I can read my IPad and IPhone without glasses. Yes, they were expensive, but with outstanding results. Dr. Risch listens, answers all your questions, and is obviously skilled. His staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!
