I have seen Dr. Murphy for several years, his explanation of my vision problems is easy to understand and make sense to me. Because I have a new problem I will see him next week. I have confidence in his handling my new issue.

Avoid
Unable to recommend him: In the past I was with a family member and the doctor's interpersonal skills/behavior with us was horrible, causing me to question his diagnosis/competency, and to recommend that my family member find another doctor. After helping my family member do so, we discovered the diagnosis of the other doctor to be contrarian and trustworthy. Now, because our visit with Dr. Murphy was many years ago, my sincere hope is that he has completely changed. Consequently, since I don't know if this has occurred, my advise is to avoid him. Your eyes are too important to trust him with them.

10+ Dr. Murphy treated my wife's eye condition with injections and saved her eye sight. His medical experience is above excellent and he takes the time to explain everything prior to and afterwards.
