The best of the best! He performed a rather complicated procedure on me and couldn’t have been in better hands than his. An A++ surgeon!

When in comes to dealing with my heart, I was FAR more concerned with technical expertise that bedside manner...not that he has a poor bedside manner...it just wasn’t at the top of my priority list. Dr. McCarthy was technically excellent, as was his entire staff. I had a congenital heart defect (bicuspid aortic valve with severe aortic stenosis) so he replaced my aortic valve and aorta in June 2017. I was out of the hospital in four days and felt infinitely better the day after my surgery.
