Tell us about your visitWhat stood out for me on this visit is the attention Dr. Foye pays to the patient, and his 'Bedside Manner' so to speak. I extend this compliment to all of his staff. Dr. Foye does not rush the patient. I have visited Dr. Foye three times for the same Tailbone issue and he listens, and treats the patients issue with great care and patience.

Renewed faith!
I have seen Dr. Foye twice for tailbone treatment, leaving both visits feeling as though I have a true healthcare advocate on my side. Addressing tailbone issues can be tricky and other providers were never able to adequately address or treat my specific ailment. I was immediately put at ease by Dr. Foye's knowledge, validation of my situation, clear treatment protocol and plethora of educational tools addressing my precise condition. He understands what his patients are experiencing and meets them with empathy. But, what stands out the most, is that he takes the necessary TIME to focus on patient needs - making each visit truly comprehensive. Being 'just another number' has unfortunately become more common than not in healthcare and it's incredibly relieving to know practitioners like Dr. Foye are still out there. I have literally flown across the world to see him and would not hesitate to do so again, if needed.

My patient experience
I would like to share my patient experience with Dr. Foye. First of all, I highly recommend him as a physician. He is very kind, detail-oriented, and makes sure he addresses all of your questions. I have high expectations for providers since I am finishing my Nurse Practitioner degree this summer. Next, I would like to share my personal experience. I have had tailbone and vulva pain since 2015. It has been debilitating for me for years. Last week, Dr. Foye performed a chemical ablation for my tailbone pain and to my surprise, the pain in my vulva disappeared! I hope my review can help others. I came to see Dr. Foye from Texas and it was well worth my time.

Professional ethics that saved my life.
After 2 years of suffering with extremely painful symptoms that included coccyx pain, of a rare neuro disease that gets ignored by every Doctor (called Tarlov cyst), and no clear diagnosis. I ended up visiting Dr. Foye my hero. His excellent knowledge and high considerations and priority for the patient's health, which drove him to navigate through my symptoms that looked extremely close to a tailbone case (even with my deformed 90 degree angulated coccyx) and found the root cause. He was kind enough to find me the specialized Centre of Tarlov cyst information (which was the only Centre back in 2021) and from there I was coming out from the darkness to a new life after doing the surgery last year. When the neuro surgeons and all the other specialties misdiagnosed my case, Dr. Foye was ready to correct the health care system even for a very rare disease. And that's my thank you Dr.

Excellent Experience
Exceptional experience with Dr. Foye from first phone contact through the procedure at The Tailbone Pain Center in the Dept. of Physical Medicine at Rutger’s NJ Medical School. After multiple procedures in L.A I could not find anyone to properly diagnose or treat me. No one had experience with a technique for imaging the coccyx while seated, which Dr. Foye emphasizes is essential to determining the cause and administering correct treatment of tailbone pain. Dr. Foye is caring, personable and compassionate, with a depth of expertise and experience treating conditions of the coccyx that I was unable to find elsewhere. The nerve block resulted in 100% relief and resolution of my pain. Dr. Foye’s finesse in performing the procedure, coupled with his clear and constant explanation throughout the 15-minutes made the experience easy, stress-free and almost entirely painless. He made me feel at ease and comfortable with his friendly, professional manner and excellent communication.

An Utterly Extraordinary Specialist
Dr. Foye was the first doctor of many who understood my coccyx pain and took each and every step he could to not only help me understand it, but to successfully treat it. His guidance and treatment changed my life. I have a dislocated/unstable coccyx, and yearly injections are a godsend. He is thorough, patient, receptive, and generous with his time and expertise. I genuinely wish all my doctors and specialists were of Dr. Foye's caliber. One of two of the most exceptional doctors I have ever been treated by in my 53 years.

Exceptional
Like many of his patients, I flew in from out of state to see Dr. Foye. I had seen numerous other doctors over 2+ years in an effort to find answers to my tailbone pain. After reviewing the information I submitted, and ordering his own x-rays, he diagnosed the issue and initiated treatment. His explanation and treatment approach make perfect sense. Dr. Foye, and his staff (including the x-ray department) accommodated my tight time schedule, but did not rush the evaluation or treatment process and answered all of my questions. Dr. Foye is not only a recognized expert in his field, he is very approachable and clearly cares very much about individual patient care - a rare combination. I highly recommend him.

Compassionate and a true expert
My time with Dr Foye was a blessing. He understands tailbone issues better than anyone I’ve encountered over years of being seen by other doctors. He takes his time talking with you and examining you, and he has a robust step ladder plan to address the tailbone pain. So grateful for Dr Foye.

Best experience I've had in the last three years!
I had a great experience with Dr. Foye and his staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The x-ray techs were ready for me when I arrived ( I flew in from Florida) and there was no waiting involved. Dr. Foye is very knowledgeable and approachable with a fantastic personality. He listened and completely understood what I was telling me (which hasn't been the case with any other doctors I have consulted about my tailbone pain in the last three years!). He took his time and explained everything, including the three different issues I have, and then proceeded to suggest treatment. I opted for the injections and he was able to administer them the same day. It's only been 6 days and I'm already feeling better. I would definitely recommend Dr. Foye to everyone!

I came all the way from South Carolina to see Dr Foye! I have never met a more compassionate knowledgeable Doctor Who was willing to spend time to explain what my condition was. He found a spur on the end of my tail bone that the Mayo Clinic did not even see! He gave me a nerve ablation which eliminated the pain on the tip of my tailbone. Thank you Dr Foye

Dr Foye diagnosed my torn ligament off my coccyx and I could not sit without pain because my tailbone was not curling under me when I sit. He is very patient and takes his time, showing you the x-rays and explaining what the problem is. After 7 years of dealing with the pain, I decided to have a nerve ablation. It was very successful and I can sit now for hours at a time without pain for the first time in 7 years! God Bless Dr. Foye. I have my life back!

I went to him for a long-standing tailbone pain when sitting. Apparently, he thought I was lying about my pain, because when he sent me a copy of his medical report, he had lied about me, apparently to put several things in my medical record to make me look like a liar.

Like most of Dr. Foye's patients, I found myself in his office after seeing multiple doctors and almost not believing that anyone would understand the magnitude of my horrific pain, nor found the source of it. Dr. Foye was the very first to listen to me and to examine me. Looking at the images brought by me of MRIs he immediately noticed both: abnormalities in my coccyx and lack of image of coccyx on others, that were not noticed by 17 other, highly respected specialists. Pain of subluxated coccyx is so intense that thoughts of suicide are not rare between suffering patients. His kindness, not rushing during detailed interview put me at ease and helped me adequately answer his questions. He is not eager to send his patients for surgery. Some are lucky to benefit just from his procedures that he performs almost painlessly, even the most feared one--nerve ablation. I wish there were more Dr. Foyes available to treat suffering people. He is a phenomenal physician, scientist and a human.

Dr Foye did some spinal injections. They Didn’t help. Fast forward to a year later. I had my entire tailbone removed. The doctor said my tailbone was dislocated and broken in another area. Wondering how all of these doctors missed this on the 4 MRI’ s I had and all of the sitting and standing xrays that were there.

He only offers steroid shot, but that is not a solution to all tailbone pain. If the shot does not work, he suggest surgery, which is a rather drastic approach. His shot did not help me, so I went to a better pain management doctor that recommended pelvic floor pt, which finally resolved my issue. I can’t imagine if I had listened to him and done an operating. It was irresponsible of him not to suggest less invasive solutions.

So grateful for Dr. Foye's treatment for coccyx pain. I flew to NJ (from SF) just to see him and all the arrangements at the hospital were done by his staff perfectly. He diagnosed my issues using his special X-ray techniques. At first, I was hesitant to get another x-ray but Dr. Foye took time out to explain to me the need for special imaging. I highly recommend going to Dr. Foye if you are suffering from tailbone pain.

There was a lot of paperwork to fill out before getting an appointment such as filling out the forms and gathering up my prior records and MRI results but it was well worth it because the doctor really took the time to look over everything and he showed me the abnormality that has been causing my pain I can't believe the radiologist and my orthopedics doctor had missed it but he made it all so clear and my problem was just like I had read in a chapter in his book so finally I have a diagnosis

Don't waste your time!!!!!!!! From the beginning, his staff has been difficult to work with. Dr. Foye is busy , not because he is a good Dr but because he is in front of Google pages. He and his staff are terrible. Just getting them to answer the phone is a nightmare. Once I was finally in the door, I watch a video that tells me I have hope and also tells me surgery is not the answer. I get the injections , only to find out 2 days later that my pain was back. He and his staff don't care

A great visit! Dr Foye was very personable, thorough & a nice gu.. I was impressed by the attention and time he gave me. The initial visit took a long time (waiting for x-ray and radiologist report from hospital), however I was informed of the wait time for xray before arriving. Dr Foye and Simple were attentive & gave me as much time as needed. Having seen 8 doctors in the past 8 years for coccyx pain, this was by far the most thorough exam & knowledgeable doctor. Worth traveling for!
