Dr. Patrick Capri, MD

I never met the doctor, so he may be great. But the sign at the front door says, 'If you are 15 minutes late, your appointment is cancelled.' And yet I found the staff doesn't care how long YOU wait. I went in to complete paperwork, which I was told would take no more than 40 minutes. I allotted one hour. Even though I finished the paperwork in 20 minutes, I learned at the 55 minute mark that I was supposed to meet with a nurse and it would take much longer than I had scheduled. No one said anything other than needing me to complete paperwork. When I told them I had to leave for another appointment, they were dismayed that I would expect a doctor's office to be on time. I've never had a primary doctor be more than 20 minutes late in all of my 70 years. Then I found out I couldn't keep my specialists if I worked with that office, and was told I wasn't a good 'fit' for that practice. SO relieved! Who would want to deal with that kind of attitude on a journey to good health!

Please do yourself a big favor and stay far, far, away...as in a GALAXY far, far, away from this inept doctor's office. They will tell you that you are required to come in and they are required to see you, for anything.I tried for about a year to get a referral to my first routine colonoscopy, and after however many calls and places, they told me that a supposed referral they had given me was old and I had to come in again. All they want to do is charge you. The staff is nasty, inept, and lazy. I will not even bother to talk about Doctor Capri, as this would take too long, but you get the picture.They will leave intimidating voice messages and send letters stating that you must cooperate when you are the one waiting on them. When you actually call, no one answers. Stay far, far, far away...as in a GALAXY!

If I had 10 thumbs they all would be pointing to the ground. He set an appointment to get a Biopsy , then 2 months later had an appointment to see him and asked me, what was the Biopsy for.. I am done !!!

This office is amazing and follows through for me on everything! They really care about their patients. Dr. Capri is kind and listens to my problems! I highly recommend his office! They give you a lot of attention.

About 18 years ago I visited Dr. Capri for a general check up cuz of an overall concern for my health. During the hernia exam when he asks to turn and cough, he said, "Pull down your pants and let me take a look at them babies." (in reference to my testicles) I was shaken up by it and cried on my way home. I was 25 year old man at the time. Worst part is I shared this story with a coworker who also had been to Dr. Capri and he said the EXACT thing happened to him. It was like his weird go to comment.

stay away from this office. They will lie to you and say you are required to come in and they are required to see you. They will leave intimidating voice messages and send letters stating that you must cooperate. Then they schedule and appointment without your permission and write a certified letter saying you missed the appt and they demand cooperation. When you actually call, nobody answers, just on hold and never get the opportunity to leave a message so you couldn't even schedule if you wanted to. STAY AWAY

Dr. Capri is always very attentive and I appreciate that he fits me in when I’m sick or in pain.

RUN FROM THIS OLD "DOCTOR"....who cares zero for your health care. Only does things His Way! Few referrals (this PCP thinks he can examine my replaced joints BETTER than specialists!). Sent me to get blood work TWICE...instead of combining into one so he could bill insurance MORE!!! And make me get another office visit! During "physical" (which consisted of him poking my abdomen....listening to me breathe...and "gleefully" performing painful prostate exam---think Chevy Chase "Moon River")...he refused to answer any of the 5 concerns I have; saying I needed to get another appointment to see him for "any" answers! HOW DOES THIS HELP MY HEALTH CARE??? Not to mention all the staff standing around trying to understand a "new computer system" installed on Wednesday morning! He got fired immediately after first office visit. Beware; if you are involved in managing your health care....this is NOT the doctor for you!

This doctor charged 225% of the fee for additional test results that I had ordered on my own - after charging me $100 just to tell me that - then wanted another $100 to review results. Then his staff informed me that if I had ordered test on my own, he would of not reviewed them when I complained about the excessive fee - clearly contrasting my visit. NOT IN IT TO HELP PATIENTS.

Completely inappropriate comments when I expressed anxiety concerns, telling me I'm too young for that, I don't look like I've been abused and his comments got worse. Dr. Capri is living in a dated world of medicine he clearly showed me as a new patient he doesn't care. When asked to recommend a gynecologist his comment was to ask the girls in the front as that seems like a girl problem. He made me feel completely uncomfortable during the whole time of sitting in the room with him.

Dr Capri and son were nice and competent enough but he will no longer be my primary care doctor and I will no longer see Dr Capri Jr for acupuncture because of the extremely rude front desk named Shelly. People have bad days but on 3 different occasions she was rude to me and to the other patients around. I cannot believe she still has a job with that attitude.

I have been a patient of Dr. Capri for over 20 years and have been well pleased with my care over all that time. He is patient and takes the time to thoroughly explain matters concerning my health but most of all he listens. When something comes up he checks my chart thoroughly before making a recommendation as to how we should move forward. His staff treats you like family, they are very warm and friendly. Sometimes I have to wait a bit but I know Dr. Capri is going to give me the best care

I've been going to Dr. Capri for about 20 years. Dr. Capri is so knowledgable about your whole person and is amazingly instructive. I literally take paper to take notes on what I learn...he talks to you. No matter what you go in for, your body works as a whole and organs/tissue interact. The reason for the wait time is that he is 'talking' to patients; helping them become keepers of their own health. BUT, he is also going to talk to YOU, so the wait is so worth it .

0. I had thyroid cancer surgery three years ago, a month ago I consulted with Dr. Capri because I felt two lumps in my throat. He dismissed me without further examination or diagnostic tests, saying it was probably just scar tissue, not to press the issue "It's nothing, or is it that you WANT cancer?". Well, I asked for a second opinion, and I have not one but two malignant carcinomas: I have cancer. He didn't want to test me and dismissed my medical history. This man could have cost me my life.

He isn't a pill pusher like every other doctor I've been to about stomach problems I've had my whole life. He actually gets down to the root of the problem and is helping me feel SOOO much better. I'm so glad I found him. He's the best doctor I've ever had.
