Dr Briggs bedside manner is unmatchable. His fabulous smile lights up the room and he is so caring and kind. I suffered several years with pain in my big toe and I finally got up the nerve to fix it. I was so nervous and anxious before surgery and he came in and calmed all my fears!! My foot looks fantastic one week out of surgery and I am doing extremely well! He did a fantastic job on my foot and the pain didn’t last as long as I thought! If you want a doctor who is concerned, gentle and kind then Dr Briggs is the doctor for you! He definitely it is the doctor for me!

I have been going to Dr Briggs Cottingham and a half years now. I love this man and his staff. He is very trustworthy, knowledgeable and the most caring doctor I have ever met. He treats you like family and what answer any question you have for him and truly cares!

I had the best hospital care with Dr. Briggs. This Dr. is very Knowledgeable, Trustworthy, Friendly and make you feel like family and not a patient. His Team of care professionals at Kindred Bay Area Hospital Outpatient are top notch best care I have and continue to received. I went to Dr. Briggs as a final hope. I had seen multiple ankle doctors so I was hesitant to try another. All the other doctors wanted me to try therapy or continue to inject me with cortisone.
As soon as Dr. Briggs saw my X-ray, he looked at me asked how in the world I was still walking. I knew right then and there, he was on my side and was going to listen. My ankle joint had deteriorated so badly I was bone on bone.
Dr. Briggs had me in for a full ankle replacement in less than a month!

He gained my respect and trust by first issuing an apology for keeping me waiting and further explaining that a complicated surgery had detained him. Most other doctors wouldn't bother.

I came to Dr. Briggs to have my ingrown toe nail removed a week and a half ago. The whole process was very quick and easy to set up. When I got to the office a couple minutes early I was immediately walked into the procedure room, and he was very helpful and took the time to listen to my concerns. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Follow up appt went just as well and fast, and Dr. Briggs showed a genuine concern for my questions. Office staff was very friendly and efficient as well.

Dr. Briggs is extremely knowledgeable and has a terrific, practical way of addressing your issues without putting you through unnecessary measures. His surgery on my foot was masterful, and he is very caring and attentive to details and follow-up. I would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing any kind of foot issues!
