Lack of Communication
While Dr. Wong was knowledgeable and pleasant during my visit, she and her office lack basic communication skills. First they provided me with the wrong information to obtain labs, resulting in my having to get labs done twice. When I brought this to their attention (left 2 message via their portal system) I got no response. When the lab results came in, no one called me to discuss them despite one having a flag/issue. I called the office and left two separate message over the course of 2 weeks and no one got back to me. Finally I received a message via the portal that was one line - saying 'we reviewed your labs and they are fine.' This was after the results had come back over 2 weeks ago and one result was clearly flagged as being abnormal. The communication here is absolutely abysmal - it is really inexcusable and disappointing - especially since the Dr. herself seems really capable. But cannot recommend this practice to anyone for these reasons.

Very nice!
I have only seen Dr. Wong once outside of a colonoscopy and she was very nice & professional both times. I am assuming that U.S. Digestive Health bought out that practice and that has me concerned as it was very difficult to reach the office to schedule (& reschedule) my next scope. BOTH CSR I spoke with were miserable!! I understand we all have bad days but major attitudes. The first representative I spoke with warmed up a little but it took a lot of schmoozing on my part. The representative today was just nasty! I have worked in a doctors office and know not everyone is always nice but if someone is being nice to YOU, please be sure to be nice to THEM!! I was very tempted to cancel the procedure today when I called but thought, that isn't fair to Dr. Wong because she is VERY, VERY nice!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wong's since her arrival at MLGA for many years. Her caring and compassionate manner, integrity and transparency, indefatigable work ethic, listening skills, and outstanding clinical skills were apparent from my first visit. Her assessment and examination was thorough and comprehensive without havng her hand on the doorknob as some clinicians do. Dr. Wong is truly a "patient" practitioner in every sense who sits with you, takes her time, asks very insightful questions demonstrating the knowledge base of a seasoned professional. Her interpersonal skills are warm, engaging and authentic at every encounter. She always makes me feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed. As a long time patient, I have exceedingly high expectations for my healthcare team and Dr. Wong represents the epitome of the complete 360 degree physician/specialist-An extraordinarily skilled, well-rounded, patient, wise and caring gastroenterologist. She is "the best of the best".

Dr Wong is the ultimate professional. She is clearly skilled and competent in her specialty Her kindness and compassion were invaluable to me during a health crisis With each visit I learned more about managing my condition and would leave with a renewed sense of encouragement and hope. When I was hospitalized Dr Wong checked on me each day. I felt safe and cared for When I was unable to reach out, Dr Wong was available to my family to offer information and support.Dr Wong is an excellent health care provider and a tribute to her profession

I had pleasure of having Dr. Wong as my new doctor. She was the 3rd Gi doctor that I have seen. I have chronic issues and up to date no one has been able to help me. I have been to Penn and also Jeff with no relief. I have finally been able to get some relief in my symptoms. I want to say thank you Dr. Wong for taking care of me and listening to my concerns.

Dr. Wong cared for my elderly mother during a hospitalization at Main Line Health hospital during the pandemic when visitors were not permitted. My mother was discharged on a laxative regimen that I, as a nurse, was having difficulty managing & sought assistance from Dr. Wong or one of her associates with multiple phone calls to the office. The calls were never returned & my mother subsequently passed away. Would not recommend this doctor for care.

Dr. Wong took as much time as was needed to address all of my concerns. Together, we came up with a tailored plan to fit my needs. It was immediately clear she is a very talented and empathetic doctor. I have seen multiple other GI doctors in the past and I have finally found the right one. I have only seen her a handful of times and I already feel better than I have in years!

Dr. Wong is an amazing physician. She gave me time to explain my past treatments and listened to my concerns. She was able diagnose my condition and prescribe the right medication. When no one else was able to provide me with answers, she found a way to help me feel like myself again. I am so thankful for doctor Wong.

Dr. Wong is absolutely phenomenal! She empathetically listened to all of my questions, concerns, and understood me. She provided me thorough education and a plan for my care, which has been nothing short of successful! After being dissatisfied with previous providers, I can say with confidence she was worth waiting to see! I would never see anyone else. Thank you, Dr. Wong. You are the BEST!

Dr. Wong is an outstanding doctor. She spends a lot of time with me in the office and writes everything down at every visit so I can remember what to do in between visits. She is very caring and extremely bright. She even came to my house once when I was too sick to go to her office. I am so grateful for her kindness and care.

I thought I liked Dr Wong after 1st colonoscopy. But recently found myself very sick and in need of help. It is a disgraceful long story. But went a whole weekend without a call back. This time I ended up admitted in hospital and again no call back. Absolutely unacceptable practices from the receptionist all the way to the doctor.

Smart but was totally disrespectful regarding two excellent doctors that I have not to mention myself. Was argumentative & had no patience when I was not perfectly explaining my issues. Office is difficult to deal wth.....scheduling for over 20 doctors. They have no cancellation list. They tell you to call everyday to see if they have a sooner opening. I tried one time & was on hold 20 minutes. Forget that! Would recommend people go with a different practice,
