Dr. Patricia Vega Fernandez, MD

My son was diagnosed with a rare bone condition in 2016 and Dr. Vega has been an answer to our prayers. After, having no answers and being misdiagnosed twice, Dr. Vega gave my sons issue a name! She is so kind and patient. She cares deeply for her patients. When you are going through something like this, you need caring people on your team. Dr. Vega is that person! We are grateful for her knowledge and care!

Dr. Vega truly cares about her patients. She personally calls me when I have to call the nurse advice line for help within the same business day (sometimes even into the evening). If something is going wrong, she will fit us in before the day starts. She consults with other experts in the field on my child's rare condition and wants to do whatever is best for us. She goes above and beyond in all ways and I've never worked with a doctor that cares for her patients as much as she does.

She's my favorite doctor! My case has been complicated but she's stuck by me all the way through it. She's caring and very thorough, and she never seems to be rushing through the appointment. I would recommend her to anybody.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Vega. She diagnosed me with JIA at age 17 after 5 years of being blown off by other doctors. It did take about 6 months to get to my first appointment, she had a diagnosis of me within the first 30 minutes of seeing her. All other appointments were made in a timely manner. She takes her time with me and has a great bed-side manner. She is great with explaining different treatment options and I always feel as though my best interest are being taken care of. I highly recommend.
