Dr. Patricia Fearing, MD

Dr. Fearing is wonderful.. She takes her time with you, addresses any issues you may have, and answers your questions. I feel she is the most knowledgeable out of all the Gynecologists I have gone to. She explains in great detail what she is doing and what to expect afterwards. She is very compassionate. I am so happy I found her.

Dr. Fearing takes her time to talk with you, explaining everything and discussing all options available. She has a calming demeanor and puts me at ease. I highly recommend her.

I use to get so much anxiety leading up to my yearly exam. So much so, that I would even cancel my appointments. I asked a friend who she saw for her gynecology needs and she told me, Dr Fearing. She said……. you should give her a call, she’s great. So, I gave Dr Fearing’s office a call and the rest is history. Everyone there is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and patient. You never feel like you’re an inconvenience when you call. Dr Fearing is the first gynecologist I’ve had in 30 years who didn’t and doesn't give me anxiety. She makes you feel so comfortable. I don’t know if it’s her personality or her mannerisms, I can’t explain it, but shes patient, kind, talks to you and not at you, explains things and makes sure you understand. If you leave her office with unanswered questions, it’ll be because you forgot to ask them. haha I can’t say enough good things! She and her staff are awesome!

Dr. Fearing does take time to listen to your concerns and give you options for your particular situation.

Dr.Fearing is a wonderful physician. Clinically she brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience with her. She is kind patient and caring. Though I only see her annually she remembers that I am caring for a partner with Alzheimer’s disease and always inquires as to how I am coping. Dr. Fearing offers many suggestions on how I can manage stress and sleep in addition to the woman’s health check work up. She orders my mammograms and goes over the results with me. I had an abnormality show up and she put me at ease, patiently explaining what the radiology report found and how we will manage it going. and that’s the part that is so important, the WE; you feel she is on your team. She is really invested in your outcome.I can honestly say that I would not be taking as good care of myself if I had not crossed paths with this exceptional doctor. If you find yourself in Dr. Fearings care you are very lucky!

I really like Dr Fearing a lot. She takes time to listen and gives professional and caring attention to my concerns. I feel so fortunate to have her for my physician. I have been in her care for about five years now and am happy with her.

Dr. Fearing is a kind and gentle woman who always keeps her patient in mind. Her procedures are always to the point and she doesn't mind being asked questions. She is the most professional of all the gynecologists I have ever known.

i am only 16, and dr. fearing unnecessarily forced a pelvic exam on me. after shaming me for quitting birth control due to weight gain and convincing me said weight gain had absolutely nothing to do with the birth control, she repeatedly attempted to perform a pelvic exam as i yelled out for her to stop because i was in so much pain. so much for the promised talk-through during the exam. i first came to her when i was 14 and, at that tine, refused to sign the consent form for an exam. i regret signing it for my second visit, the exam was violating and traumatizing. not to mention dr. fearing is in general rude, cold, and has no compassion or understanding for her patients. the amount of one-star reviews she has is for a reason; she is not meant to work in healthcare, especially not in gynecology. she’s one of those people who seems to have some unresolved issue with the world deep down and takes it out on everybody around them. find another gynecologist, you definitely won’t be sorry.

Going to see the gyno can be a nervous experience because you have to be vulnerable to the doctor. Well terrible gynos like Patricia Fearing are the reason why so many people get nervous and have bad experiences. She shames you about your sexual history after asking about info for it and forgets to refill your prescription for your birth control. She also tries to switch up your meds without asking, just based on what she thought 'best" She's truly the only gynecologist with whom I've had a bad experience with.

I went to see Patricia Fearing. She was condescending, judgmental, and mean. She would dismiss any pain I was feeling, saying I was overreacting, and not care about me wanting to change my prescription. If you want to feel uncomfortable and hurt go set an appointment with her! Honestly the worst doctors appointment I've ever had :)

She was the rudest person. She was judgemental and unsympathetic. I was so surprised that a doctor thought it was okay to talk to a patient like that. Save your money and time and go to another gynecologist. Trust me. Truly an awful doctor. She should get her license taken away from her.

It was great to finally find a knowledgeable, professional physician who was supportive of my desire to continue HRT. The entire office visit was excellent.

I love Dr. Fearing! When my gyn of 30+ years retired, I worried i would not find another that treated me in the same manner, or would continue my post menopausal therapy. But Dr. Fearing is the perfect fit for me. Even after moving away from Gainesville 3 years ago, I have continued to travel back to see here every year. If I have no questions or issues, I can be in and out quickly, but if i have anything I need to talk about, she will make the time to address my concerns!

She is the most unempathetic doctor I have ever had, her bedside manner absolutely sucks, I have been struggling with brain fog and sometimes can’t remember things unless I write them down, I asked her a question and she blatantly said “I have told you this several times and I will tell you again, the most rudest doctor, she made me upset and basically rolled her eyes as she was giving me a tissue, and got frustrated at me. Horrible horrible experience!

I had the worst experience with Dr. Fearing. She is very judgmental, dismissive and cold. All I got from this visit was the bill and waste of time. I wonder how she stays in practice with such attitude towards patients.

Pedantic and poor listener. Very cursory breast exams too.

Charged for an unnecessary office visit and treated rudely when I questioned it. Staff is friendly and professional...until you have a problem. They care about their money, but have no concern about yours so watch out. You'll be forced to make an appointment just to get a refill. My insurance was charged, I covered my co-pay, then I got a bill in the mail for an additional $90 and told to take it up with my insurance company. Unless money is no object for you, you might want to beware.

Disappointing. Very short time spent with the patient, no questions asked, and when you call her to get her opinion about the new pill that she prescribed, she asks that you come see her to discuss in person - and she ends up just saying that the reaction is normal and you need to keep taking the same pill. Seriously? Another appointment for nothing, time wasted, and money too. Will not go back.

I've been going to Dr. Fearing for years and love her and her office staff.
