Follow-up Hospital Visit
Doctor Ankomah was very thorough and caring. She took the time to explain my condition and the options available for treatment. She made me feel like a person and not another number, which is important to me. Most of all I feel much better than I did when I walked into her office.

A good bedside manner does not make a good DR
Telehealth
She is not my primary doctor but was a fill in for a telemed call as I had Covid. She did not listen to me when I explained that I had signs of an infection beginning and knew that I would need an antibiotic due to my serious existing lung issues and history. She just kept saying that it's a virus and we don't treat it with an antibiotic. She refused to prescribe it even though it was on a Friday of a holiday weekend and I was starting with the lung involvement signs. She said to go to the ER if worse. I am in my 60's and have been dealing with lung issues most of my life. I know when I'm going to need an antibiotic. This doctor failed me. I would not recommend her at all. Doctors like this are the reason that so many people have died from this C virus. Early treatment should have been given without having to go to the ER.

She was very friendly and thorough.
I really like Dr Ankomah but the girls behind the counter have the personality of a rock and are not the least bit friendly or helpful. They made me feel like I was a bother to them.
