Review is about rude discourteous staff Vanessa
Dr. Whitworth and his PA are WONDERFUL but...his scheduler Vanessa feels empowered to be rude, discourteous and disrespectful up to and including hanging up on a patient. NOT acceptable. A good doc must not have atilla the hun on their staff if they have to interact with patients.

I found Dr Patrick Whitworth to be very caring and knowledgeable. He explained my condition and the options that we had, so that I could understand completely. I’m so thankful that my primary care physician sent me to him.

While I know Dr Whitworth is an excellent physician, his nursing staff was less than helpful, and I had to wait nearly two hours each visit before even seeing Dr Whitworth. Sounds like that is standard practice, which would have been helpful information before booking an appointment.

The day I got my pathology report from surgery, I waited for over an hour to see him and found out from talking to other women waiting in the lobby that he was at least triple booked at my appointment time. Got 15 minutes of his time after waiting that long. He only seemed interested in rushing me in for surgery, now that I'm past that part he has limited interest. He is competent, but if you want a caring doctor who is willing to spend time and really address your concerns, see someone else.
