Amazing Ablation Results!
I was told by several EP docs that my VTACH was unreachable and impossible to eliminate due to the vessels being on the way.Dr. Santangeli gave me hope when I saw him in office and was confident there was a good chance of eliminating this life threatening condition. He was able to succeed where no-one else could, and I am a new person now! THANK YOU!

Ablation of complicated PVC
Dr. Santangeli moved to the Cleveland Clinic recently and I was supposed to see him in Philadelphia for an ablation. My case is very complicated and 2 doctors already tried to get rid of the PVCs without success. I followed him in Cleveland and now my PVCs are completely gone. I feel like a new person, thanks Dr. Santangeli!

My husband was transferred with an helicopter to Dr. Santangeli at UPENN for an ablation of VTach that could not be done anywhere else in the east coast I was told. He was hooked to a machine to replace his heart and lungs and having VTach every hour. Dr. Santangeli saved his life and now he is here with me enjoying our days and our grandkids. Thank you Dr. Santangeli!

Dr. Santangeli performed an ablation on me to treat Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) Syndrome, which means I had an extra electrical pathway in my heart. It turned out that the pathway was in a difficult-to-reach area of my heart, and tricky to destroy, so the procedure lasted much longer than expected because Dr. Santangeli was DETERMINED to reach it and get rid of it. Then, to make sure I had no further problems with my heart rhythm, he implanted a cardiac monitor, which I had for three years. He recently explanted it. From my first appointment to my most recent, he has been consistently excellent. He is thorough, conscientious, kind, and ALWAYS takes the time to answer all of my questions. During the procedures, he spoke to me as needed to keep me updated on what was happening. I highly recommend him.

I was told by 6 (SIX!) specialists that I had no options for ablation due to my anatomic problems. Dr. Santangeli was able to do my ablation and I got my life back. If you have anything complex don't waste your time, go see him!

Dr. Santangeli and his team in the cardiac electrophysiology lab did an excellent job with my ablation. I had a relatively straightforward case of SVT, but I was very anxious about the procedure. HUP (UPenn) has a large, high volume electrophysiology lab that is staffed by several renowned physicians, among which Dr. Santangeli is one. Due to these factors, HUP was the #1 place within a couple hours of my home where I felt most comfortable getting an ablation. You're in very good hands with Dr. Santangeli and his team.

I have been in AFib for over 3 years, and now in normal rhythm after Dr Santangelli's ablation. I am so grateful for this, have been turned down by three other EPs due to my overweight, sleep apnea, and large atria
