Well one thing you don't get to see Dr Dauphin not sure he is even there, saw him once in my 4 years there and was very knowledgable and did a biopsy on my thyroid after that never saw him. His NP are hit and miss lately the office staff is miserable any slight irritation and your getting yelled at by the office manager. They demand their money with no explanation, was left in the room waiting for my thyroid ultrasound results for over an hour. Its ridiculous and not a pleasant experience. The office staff have no problem humiliating you in front of others but take no responsibility for their errors or inappropriate behaviour. The office manager she is a beast and worse person to deal with and sets the tone in the office. The person taking blood was just as nasty and rude, they these people are in the healthcare business when they are so unpleasant don't know. Dr Dauphin is absent maybe he doesn't like the staff but they are ruining the Dr reputation. Would not recommend!

Terrible Office Management
Arrived to find appt. was next week. Can't make-next available- next month. Told I would have to redo blood work due to delay. Upsetting(have a high deductible) my blood work is costly but(didn't argue) . Said I need to reschedule & wanted copy of my records. Woman checking me in started questioning me about why I wanted my records & did I want to reschedule my appointment. I said it was my right to have access to my records & as I said, I wanted to reschedule. She said that I seemed frustrated & as Office Mgr wanted to check on this. I agreed -I was frustrated as I had made a mistake. I had a right to my emotions but I was not being aggressive or abusive & just wanted my records (agreed to pay) & reschedule. Had to repeat 3x times as she kept on about it. She then said she wouldn't reschedule me (no reason). Believed she continue to torment me so I would lose temper (didn't). Appalled that staff (wouldn't give name)denied me access to my doctor &needed medical service&bullied me

Doesn't Listen to Patients; Unprofessional Staff
My first appointment was with a NP who not only didn't hear me (I knew this from what I read in my Visit Summary) but only wanted to throw 'the shot' at me when I'm not quite a diabetic yet (I'm pre diabetic) already losing weight with diet and exercise. My second (and last visit) was no different with the doctor. Not once did either ask what I was eating or doing to get my A1c down. The staff also always looks so miserable and gruff; When they fat fingered my insurance info with the in-office lab, they refused to fix it. That's when I cancelled any future appoints to find somewhere else.

Dr.Dauphin may be a very good doctor -- hard to say, I haven't seen him in years and only see NP's, some of whom were good, some seemed to not know much at all. The biggest complaint is that his office staff/practices need a major overhaul. Good luck getting a call back. You have to keep calling and calling to get an actual response -- in my latest case I was waiting for a referral to be sent to a surgeon. When I finally got through, I was told they tried to call me earlier that very day but my mailbox was full (there were no messages in my mailbox, plus I can look at a call log and easily see if someone had called -- they hadn't). So I assume she just flat out lied??? Waited weeks and weeks for someone to call me about biopsy results (I called several times and "someone will get back to you" was the response). I can't imagine what it's going to be like when I need refills now that I'm on meds. I must say, I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone.

New Patient
Today I had my first visit with Dr. Dauphin. Everyone in the office was truly welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Dauphin and his staff were very helpful in answering all of my concerns. They took the time to go over my visit in detail. All my questions were answered. After leaving the office I felt very confident the I had received quality healthcare from a very knowledgeable physician. I would highly recommend being seen by this practice.

Believe the bad reviews
There is something very wrong with this office. Biggest complaint is they don’t answer their phones, return calls or the very worst…do not refill prescriptions. You will only see the doctor on initial visit. Then you will see a NP who either isn’t qualified to make decisions regarding blood work and/or has to get direction from dr. While you wait for them to discuss. But biggest issue is the prescription refills. I ran out of necessary thyroid meds and finally had to get my gp office to call in. And speaking of my gp at st. Thomas, they show me how an office should be run. Always responsive on their portal and via text service. I’m truly baffled how Dr. Pascal and his staff handle their patients. He came highly recommended; although I decided to give it a chance, I’ll never be back.

Needs a house cleaning of staff
While I didn't have a problem with the doc, you don't even get a person on the phone, they NEVER answer directly, call always goes to a voicemail. Staff have no regards for patients. I found another bone health office, I'll never go back.

Worst office ever!
Dr Dauphin is very arrogant and rude. Stating he is the best endo doc in the area. Definitely not! Never once in 4 months of care did anyone actually answer the phone. Nurse said today she only makes return calls on Wednesdays. So if you call on a Thursday you have a long wait for a call back. I was literally crying in his office telling him how bad I feel and he continued to make me feel like I was crazy and all my symptoms were wrong or something else. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!

I have family history of thyroid cancer and after a CT Scan for an unrelated event 5 years ago, I was told to get my thyroid checked out. I was referred to Dr. Dauphin and he listened to me and took my family history into consideration and did a biopsy. Unfortunately it was cancer but it was caught at an early stage. I had a thyroidectomy and have sense been on synthroid. He has made sure that my levels are always good and he takes the time to tell me my results and explains the reason behind the information. He's a teaching doctor so I think, because of this, he's always willing to explain things so clearly. I never feel he's rushed. He always takes his time and makes sure that I fully understand everything. He will forever be my endocrinologist! Highly recommend!

Wasn’t real enthused with this Dr but upon rescheduling a visit -I called within the given time frame to cancel then received a bill for no show and basically was called a liar by staff stating I didn’t call to cancel-it’ll be a cold day in hell before I pay $25 or go back! It’s one thing to be at fault but I don’t appreciate being called a liar and billed when it’s not the case I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM

Dr. Dauphin and The Metabolic Group have no regard for the health and well-being of their patients. Received a cold, impersonal letter from Pascal Dauphin dropping my wife from care today with no explanation. She was ill and had to reschedule an appointment in the middle of a pandemic, could that be it? Would a medical doctor in the middle of a pandemic be so greedy and uncaring as to do that? SO UNPROFESSIONAL. She has a severe case of Hypothyroidism, feels absolutely awful, and NEEDED her upcoming appointment. Now she is frantically searching for new care, but there are wait lists for 5-6 months. Having to watch my wife have to deal with this is heartbreaking, and to have a doctor, who should "do no harm", inflict MORE on a patient is infuriating.

After reading these reviews, I almost did not keep my referral appointment with this physician. I literally called my insurance company and requested a list of providers in my area. I work in the medical field so I repeatedly asked co-workers/nurse practitioners who they would recommend. Each one of them referred me to him. I’d say the front office staff could be friendlier but the nurse and MD were awesome. Dr. Dauphin took his time to explain things and provided reassurance. Probably one of the best doctors I’ve seen that will take the time to explain and answer all your questions. I would not hesitate to see him again. He surpassed my expectations.

If I could I would give 0 stars. I wish I never started going to this office. EVERY time I go there is an issue. Whether that’s them over charging me, making me wait 3 hours, or the staff being utterly incompetent. I recent got a $250 check from them because that’s how much they overcharged me. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE!! Never have I ever been somewhere so unprofessional. Dr Dauphin will only push drugs from companies that give him money, even if they’re not the most helpful. THIS DOCTOR TOOK ALMOST $ 1 MILLION FROM DRUG COMPANIES FROM 2013-2016 - See the propublica website to confirm this information. He put my wife on injections of drugs made by the firms he took money from. He made her wait an hour, spent 10 minutes only to recommend drugs that did not work. The lab tests were suspiciously done by an "in house nurse practitioner" that were very expensive yet billed separately so the patient had to pay more for them.
