Very rushed, did not care about my issues
Dr Khanna came in and his energy was not in the room, it seemed like I was an unfortunate part of his job. The interaction lasted 4 minutes. Disinterested.

Awful Dismissive Doctor
Dr. Khanna is a very dismissive and unhelpful doctor in regards to Narcolepsy. My first appointment he barely asked any questions and prescribed me medication. The appointment lasted about 8 minutes. Seeing his demeanor I was very hesitant scheduling another appointment with him, but my second appointment came around and I decided to speak up. The medication he prescribed to me does not treat the root cause of Narcolepsy and instead is just a bandaid. The medication was also giving me stomach pains as well. I spoke up about this to him and he was very dismissive saying I have not been taking it consistently and to keep taking it, but instead half a dose this time. This will NOT work with a sleep disorder such as mine. Half a pill is basically ineffective and I explained that to him because I TRIED it already, but he completely ignored me and said take it anyways. Do not go here if you want a doctor who cares for your needs, especially if you have a rare disorder such as mine.

Great doctor, terrible phone system
Dr Khanna was great. The phone system, however, is a disaster. The hours state a start time of 6:30 when the office doesn't actually open until 9. Waited until 9:10 and got thrown around on their answering system. Pressing buttons to speak with a human, and not getting anywhere. There are a list of over a dozen options that get read out over and over. You pick a choice, and nothing happens except that list again. I'm not being just a crabby old man; I know the technology exists for a better system than the one they're using. I feel like in 2022 that this really shouldn't be a problem. Once I was able to make an appointment, Dr. Khanna was terrific. I got a great feeling from him.

I was seeing Dr. Khanna for a few years. I always felt like something just didn’t feel right with appointments and billing. I would go for my yearly follow-up and they would bill my insurance for a 5-10 min visit. Then I would have to come back for another appointment for an EKG. Then I would have to come back for a sonogram. Then I would have to go back for a stress test. Then if I needed a monitor that was another appointment. This is very tough for people who work, taking time off for so many appointments with one dr. I never understood why he couldn’t fit in the EKG in the follow up with him. All he’s doing in my recheck is listening to my heart and asking me a few questions . I asked him my last appointment why so many appointments and his reply was I can only charge for one test at a time. My recheck appointment is just a visit there’s no test? I recently saw another cardiologist and they disagreed with what he told me. When your gut tells you something listen.
