I brought my daughter to the ER on Wednesday Jan 29th for abdominal paid and vomiting. She was showing signs of appendicitis. They did blood work and her white count was at 21000 clearly showing signs that her body was fighting something. An Ultrasound was scheduled and they couldn't find her appendix so they assumed that was a good sign. I was told that Doctor Delavari would not put her child through a CT scan at this age and we were sent home. The pain got worse over night and we returned on Thursday morning to demand a CT scan. My daughters appendix had ruptured and we were told it had probably ruptured 48 hours prior. This is unacceptable for something so routine from a hospital like North Memorial. She underwent surgery immediately and the infection was already pooling and corroding organs. She is a very luck girl that we return the next day to demand more information. I would not recommend Doctor Delavari under any circumstance if she is unable to diagnose appendix.
