Dr. Pankaj Nashikkar, MD

After see Dr. Nashikkar on Monday, I tried for the 3rd time to get his oxygen set up correctly. As of Friday evening, it still hasn't been accomplished. Their office is closed now and they do not even provide a way to talk to the physician in case of needed care when they are closed. Their voice message says to call 911. I can't believe that if one of his patients is sick, that he cannot be reached. Dr. Nashikkar spent quite a bit of time with me and my husband, but leaving his patients with no way to get in touch with him after hours, makes me wonder how important his patients are to him and his practice. Their facility was very difficult for someone with disabilities to enter. The elevator was barely large enough for the wheel chair they provided and would not make it though the door to their office.

I tried seeing him for the last year but his big ego and the fact that he doesn't like to be questioned coupled with a cold bedside manner stopped me from forming any relationship with him. On my last visit there I waited until half and hour past my appointment time before walking out without seeing him. When I mentioned to his intake nurse that I wanted to see an Endocrinologist she told me repeatedly that I could do that.

I wouldn't recommend this "Dr." (and I use that term loosely) to anyone, not even a sick animal. So he's friends with Winans, WOW, What a shock...(birds and feathers reference.)

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Nashikkar. He took plenty of time to answer my questions and thoroughly explained my diagnosis. He told me what to expect, how to adjust my insulin dosages and what the long term affects and treatments were for my diabetes. it was very refreshing after the poor experience with my last Dr.

Dr. Nashikkar was my primary Dr. for nearly four years. I seen him every month and the only care he gave to me was renewing my monthly medicine. His bedside manor for a doctor was cold, he had no heart behind the care given to me. His explenation for any question asked was a one sentence answer. I felt like he was always in a hurry to get to his next customer not patient. I would not recommend him to anyone.
