I'm thankful for all the excellent reviews on Dr Madan and staff. In Feb 2021 after reading the reviews, I made an appointment to see Dr Madan after being diagnosed with several heart problems to include 3 different diagnoses of heart failure. I wanted a second opinion and brought a LOT of paperwork. Impressively the nurse M Lopez took the time to go through the paperwork I brought and listened to All my concerns about muscle weakness and fatigue . After she discussed my concerns with Dr Madan, Dr Madan came in and listened again. (When you ask for God's healing!!!) ....he found that my heart was fine. He referred me to two doctors to address my other concerns. I can't thank Dr Madan, Ms Lopez and Ms Nguyen enough for the Excellent service I received. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Madan and his staff. I have a condition that literally scares just about every doctor I have seen...and then I am told they can not help, but not Dr. Madan. He is intelligent, listens and takes my thoughts into consideration and he works well with my other doctors. He also monitors my daughter and I feel we are both in caring competent hands.

One of the easiest reviews I’ve ever done! I wasn’t having trouble finding a cardiologist who listened to me and who understood my condition fully. I felt like most just tuned me out or rushed me through without paying attention. The few times I’ve been in his office, Dr. Madan has made sure I felt like I was heard and didn’t just try to rush me out the door. He’s taken time to really get to know my case and explains things thoroughly to me and my family. Top notch doctor!

Dr. Madan is amazing. I was having issues with even walking across the room without being completely out of breath and other doctors thought it was from a combination of my other illnesses in unison causing me to be so out of breath. He saw me for just a few minutes and said you have a double walled right ventricle. He got me in for a catherization within a week to verify and heart surgery shortly after to fix the issue. I can now move around without being out of breath. Great follow up as well.

This is any easy review: the good doctor is a polite gentleman who is extremely knowledgeable, a specialist is his field (please check his credentials, they will give you confidence) a good listener, who asks very pertinent questions and provides solid, practical advice without trying to scare his patients. He will go the extra mile to understand your dilemma and insure that you family is always keep informed of events that unfolding. Very glad he is in San Antonio!
